Suns Biggest Threat?

Post#1 » by SunsWinSunsWin » Wed Jan 28, 2009 12:39 am

Okay...most likely the Suns will be a 5 to 8 seed IF they make the playoffs.

Of the current playoff teams...
Lakers
Spurs
Nuggets
Rockets
Hornets
Trailblazers
Dallas
Utah (I'll throw them in there since they are 1/2 game back)

...which team is going to stop the Suns THIS year?

I'm most fearful of the Hornets
I do not worry if we are matched with the Trailblazers

To be honest, with the way we are playing it's more of, what team can we actually beat in a series than who can beat us.

The Biggest Threat ?????

Jeezus....it is obvious... We have been reduced to an aging team lacking tactical leadership, with minimal trading assets. This yrs debacle did not happen over night.

Damn those bears too.

Only team I could see that we would have the slighest cance against out of the top tier teams is Denver and even that would be pushing it if they are fully healthy

So heres the plan. We play awesome the rest of the season. Get the 5 seed and hopefully match up against Denver. I think we could beat them. Then we'd face the Lakers in the second round while the Hornets and Spurs play each other. Lakers collapse under the pressure to win a championship, then we face the Spurs in the conference finals where we lose in 5.

haha i'm just kidding, we get bounced in 5 games in the first round by the spurs, who purposely lose some late season games just to face us.

suns biggest threat? The GM and the coach. They don't have chemistry with the players. Very bad combination.

The Spurs, considering we've lost like, six postseason series to them in the last 13 years.
