Blockbuster deal on the way, see last post

Post#1 » by akiradu63 » Wed Jan 7, 2009 11:04 pm

Hi all,

I'm in a very deep 20 teams league, currently 8th. I have a good team for such a deep league, but I also have a lot of injuries in my team.

it's a 13-cats H2H league with : MIN, FG%, FT%, 3PTM, 3PT%, PTS, RBDS, AST, ST, BLK, TO, AST/TO, TECH. So good passers and 3 pters are very important. It's a 4 players keeper.

Here it is :

Mayo
Kidd
N.Robinson
George Hill
Arenas
Ellis
Kobe
Evans
Azubuike
Brandan Wright
Aldridge
Kaman

Arenas, Ellis and Kaman are 3 potential All Star. I'm still in the run for the PO, but it could be risky, especially if Arenas doesn't come back and if the next MRI of Kaman is bad.

I know Kobe is a great player, but I don't think he will keep such fg%, and scoring is not the most important thing in my league.

With Tony Parker and Nene, I would win in FG%, Ast, Stl, TO, Ast/To, Techs, and then it depends on how well Kaman comes back.

But I'm afraid that when Gino will be fully recoverd from his unjury, he will have more responsabilities (less assists for TP), and I have also read that the Nuggets are looking for some new big man for the rotation.

So, what do you think guys about it ?

I'd still keep Kobe.

Side note - looks like a league for efficient guys like Dirk, Kevin Martin, Jose Calderon etc.

Thanks for your answer.

Indeed, that's the type of league where Calderon is one guy to build on.

I've finally done a Arenas-Nate-Robinson-Kaman vs Foye-Scola-Shaq deal. Pretty happy about that.

Now, I'm just trying to get Deron Williams in my team.

I hope you've got the Foye-Scola-Shaq part of the deal or that this is a keeper league, because Arenas is out for the rest of the season and Kaman until the All-star break.

James is just a dream, the guy who got him will not trade him because of the keeper.

Moreover, Kobe is not very loved in my league ^^'

I have done a trade, not really good for me but good for my keeper : Kidd/Aldridge/Azubuike (me) vs Deron Williams/Tyrus Thomas/Turiaf. I was really upset with Kidd %, and with Aldridge % (not very good for a PF, and he just doesn't rebound).

Now my team is :

PG
Deron Williams
Monta Ellis
Sergio Rodriguez
George Hill

SG
Randy Foye
OJ Mayo
Kobe Bryant

SF
Maurice Evans
Tyrus Thomas

PF
Boris Diaw
Luis Scola

C
Shaquille O'Neal
Ronny Turiaf

Now I'm trying to trade Foye for a good SF.

What kind of SF can I have for Foye in your opinion ? I would love Josh Smith, but I think Turkoglu is a more realistic option.

Thanks for the answer !

go for melo with something around foye/TyThomas/Nene while stock is semi high. Im always up for getting the all star if it means losing two or three mediocre/good players. Nene's gonna get hurt again and TT is a meathead...go for the gold in trades!.... Fill in the scrubs later. I got Melo in one league for Grant Hill, Jermaine O', and Kapono and picked up a hurt Ellis and Matt Bonner if that helps gauge anything

Hi all !

Now my team is :

Monta Ellis
Deron Williams
Kobe Bryant
Tyrus Thomas
Lamar Odom
Charlie Villanueva
Luis Scola
Ronny Turiaf
Trevor Ariza
Shaquille O'Neal
Sergio Rodriguez
OJ Mayo
Tracy McGrady

I'm on the way to conclude a trade Oj Mayo and Sergio Rodriguez vs Randy Foye and Boris Diaw.

But I'm also on a VERY big deal :

I would sent Kobe, Ariza, Shaq, Ellis, TMac and Odom vs Ray Allen, Tony Parker, Nene, Zach Randolph, Shawn Marion and Leandro Barbosa. You can see the stats used in my league in the first post.

What do you guys think ?

Thanks !

I don't know about that last deal, I don't think I like it.

I like the other deals you have pulled off though and the Mayo one you're in the process of doing looks good as well.
