Re: The real story on Lucky
This is morbidly fascinating.
I have a question: What in game interviews does Willie Maye do? Are they for Grande and Max, or in house on the jumbotron, or something else?

Willie does interviews for the jumbotron. I don't see the big deal, Lucky sounds crazzzzyy.

Sounds like he did a good job of "court jester", then eventually forgot that was his role.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

My favorite part of the story:
Whether this is BS or not Wilson you get the Most Entertaining Post of The Week award.
hotdogwilson wrote:people from outside would walk by the closed door and hear him pumping himself up by saying things like "This is your game Damon" and "No one is better than you Damon." It was hilarious. I personally walked by once and heard him blaring some kind of techno and just yelling out loud screams.

I don't buy any of it. Where's the proof? $100 we see Lucky at the next game....doing his thing.

Any inside dirt?
His quotes kind of remind me of Delonte West's, only less abstract and more self-serving.

The Globe and Herald have detailed stories backing up a lot of this stuff. I believe every single word.

I can't imagine Willie Maye getting angry at anyone.
"Well, Lucky, I heard you have a feud going on with me. Tell me about it!" (sticks mic in Lucky's face and sits back with a satisfied grin)

Sure, you WANT to believe every single word. Who doesn't. I just think Mr Dog embellished a little too much this time.

My over/under for posts with regards to believability is 43. He still has a lot to prove.
I'll say it again, Lucky will be at the next game in Boston. Guaranteed.

What? Read the papers, he has been let go.
Everyone has backed his story up. No one on here had a positive story on this guy. I believe the OP's email.

Re: The real story on Lucky
That's funny. I heard some stories like this a while back too. Lucky lives in my building complex in Quincy and I see him sometimes. He rides around the complex in one of those Segway things. I recognized him once and just said "hi." He brushed me off and told me "No autographs right now" and drove off in his little vehicle. He's a really weird guy.
