Mailman to be on TNT next Thursday with the guys in the studio. We also play the Mavs that night. Dork should pick up his usual suspension.

Should be interesting. Inarticulate, but colorful... I guess that means he'll be sitting in Barkley's chair.

Malone on TNT next Thursday..

Since Barkley is on hiatus because of his DUI, Malone I guess will be in studio, so it'll be interesting to see what he's been up to and stuff.

Because both the Jazz and Lakers are playing. I have wondered why it took them so long to get the Mailman on there. It's a shame Barkley won't be there, he and Karl would be hilarious arguing over who was better between the two of them.

So I was thinking, Malone isnt exactly popular with most fans. So did TNT call him up and invite him? Or did Malone ask for the spot? Malone has a big ego, and mabey he misses the spotlight? I wish he would come and help out the Jazz in some way.

The city of Utah agrees.

A. Malone is still a well respected figure. The NBA even had that commercial last year with him in it during the playoffs, and he was a judge in the dunk contest. It's not like he's some bad guy who is causing problems for the NBA after his retirement. He made mistakes when he was a young man, but those are long since resolved.

B. Karl Malone has far too much dignity to ever ask to be on a show like TNT, I am sure after Barkley went down they wanted another player from the same era with a good sense of humor to fill in and Malone was happy to do it.

C. Malone has already turned down offers from teams as a coaching assistant in order to stay closer to home and help out at Louisiana Tech, I honestly don't think he craves the spotlight at all anymore.

I'm guessing that LA Tech could be in town for a game or something. Just a guess.
