For the same reason your upset. THE RESULTS. A calapsed lung was the result. If he got up and it was just a hard fall and Gerald just hit the deck for the 10000X in his career you wouldn't remember it.
2.People do hate the lakers and don't know Bynun isnt that type.

The majority of posters on the RealGM are haters. Period.

I'm tired of every major market team playing the "hated on" card when their posts get ripped and the flaming ensues. It's THE basketball message board, it ought to be understood that there's a low tolerance for homerism...

Don't know him??? I don't care if he is a saint, he did a deliberate, reckless act which caused injury and should have been suspended.
That type of contact is not necessary and you have a duty of care to protect the players.

They introduced rules for this type of event in Aussie Rules Football where players were getting injured by reckless acts like Bynum's. They let every player know that they all have a duty of care to each other out there and if they push the limits with reckless acts like that you can expect suspension.

This needs to be introduced here otherwise your enforcer can just keep committing these hard fouls.
If it was the finals and that was Perkins injuring Bryant, how much would we hear you's crying then!

As a fair punishment I think they should suspend Bynam and make the LAKERS play Ammo starting minutes. See how they like it!

Yes.
Rule 1: Real men don''t wear body armour or protection when playing football.

Sorry that really sucks what kind of injury caused by a vicious flagrant foul does it take to get a suspension? Oh wait Bobcats Lakers this is stupid way to go justice is doomed.

Wallace told Brown he didn’t want Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum suspended for the foul that hospitalized Wallace with a collapsed lung and broken rib. So Wallace apparently thought the flagrant foul-1 assessed was sufficient.

Like I said the only opinion that counts overall is Wallace, and Im gald that he addressed this, and props on him for being a classy competitor and at least giving Bynum the benefit of the doubt.
All I can say is I hope he gets well and best of luck to his recovery.

Spectre: I am curious of your opinion. Do you think Crash is being a sport about it, or do you think he has retribution in mind and this is his way of laying the ground work by publicly stating "it's no big deal.". I think it could be either.

I think Crash expressed what he really felt; no way do I believe Crash has one thought about retribution.

That's what Diop is for.

Kidding!
