Ugly...but I'll take it...nice effort by Big Baby again tonight---the Flagrant by Perk will earn him a suspension---but this team needed to take someone out tonight!!

at least Tommy saw Maxiell shove Eddie out of bounds to get that rebound....cause the refs let it go.

Mike Breen on ESPN noticed the shove as well. The reffing almost made me crazy and usually I'm a pretty mellow guy...

The game was closer than I would've liked but on the other hand, occasionally it's nice to win in a hard fought game. Another double digit winning streak! WHOOO!

All I want to know is did anyone notice the shot of Big Baby waiting at the scorer's table when he was about to come in around 2 minutes left in the 3rd? If you have the game dvr'd you must re-watch it because he is very clearly contorting his mouth to let out a huge burp lol. My other favorite parts of this game were the hippies behind the ESPN announcers that were trying to get on tv in the background and, I'm assuming, Ray Allen being heard in the background telling the ref he got "hit in the balls" late in the game when he was called for a foul against Iverson.

I saw the burp by Baby....but the most Perplexing thing of the night was:

HOW in the Hell did KG NOT get free throws on that alley-oop attempt??--when he was hit by Wallace?

Rondo threw the ball up towards the rim,KG jumps-puts his hand on the ball to slam it through--Rasheed pushes him off balance--No basket--foul called, but NON SHOOTING??....Wallace shouted at least three times at the refs: "Now THAT was a foul!"....which it was---but,no free throws!

Absolutely horrible.

I saw the burb too, and I thought.. that was the worse timing ever. They were trying to give Baby a little credit and he looked horrible.

Between that and actually crying.. for the national audience that was watching the Celtics [laker, magic, cav fans] they must really think that Gled Davis acts like a Baby.

And Maxwell.. how do you do this every game man? I'm not saying you have to relax and enjoy the game because you've been complaining about the refs every game for a long time.. but how do you keep it up? It must be exhausting.

Then again, our team has no unknown variables so maybe I just no longer care what the refs calls are because it's likely there we'll make a great play on offense the next possession or the other team will make a mistake and cough up the ball to us on defense.

I wonder if this Celtic team could ever cut down on the turnovers....

It was a terrible call, and I think it was a classic case of the refs not using common sense and taking the situation too literal.

I guess baby's do burp a lot though. At least there was no spit up.

I've been complaining about the refs ever since Jack Madden called that offensive basket interference on Kevin McHale in that playoff game in Detroit in 1988 (Mchale was like 4' from the rim)...cost us the game and probably the series.

Plus, the League should have given us some cap relief when Reggie Lewis died---guys can retire, but you can't actually DIE in this league to get cap relief...Plus the fixed 1997 and 2007 Lotteries....6 guys on the court for Portland this year---it goes on and on....other than these things,I enjoy the NBA.

GO CELTICS--!!!!
