OT:Bynum gets hurt (right knee)

Post#1 » by s_g_b » Sun Feb 1, 2009 2:20 am

 I still thinks that Perkins and almost Powe are better players than that injury prone.

BTW, Lakers fan here, can we borrow the myracle Paul pierce's Bike?

wow your a laker fan and think Perkins is better? Perk is solid and very good defensively but he is pretty injury prone with his cronic shoulder problem.

I hope the kid is ok...it looked bad...Laker or not, I never like to see anyone get hurt playing ball. It looked like he tore his knee.

Hey Kefa I quoted you on the GB about this but just in case you didn't see it............props for being classy bro. Injuries are a part of sports and we as fans just have to deal with it emotionally. It's just that fans that are die hard's like us feel the sting of it a little more different than the casual fan.

See you guys Thursday.............we still coming for the W you know that right ! :D

They're lucky the knee went backwards and NOT sideways---cause he'd be done for the season.

I posted a topic here on the Celtic board within a minute of Bynum going down.

When the announcers said the x-ray indicated a sprain, I deleted the thread,
to not be an alarmist.

Then again, considering how the Lakers concealed the extent of Bynum's
January 2008 injury against Memphis last season
(saying every 10 days or so that he'd be back until
after the Pau Gasol trade ,
when suddenly the Lakers announced that Bynum was out for the season.

So, it wouldn't surprise me if Bynum is out until after the All-Star break.
3 weeks for a knee sprain is lucky,
and the way Bynum was moaning on the floor tonight,
I'd be very surprised if he's back before the All-Star game.

The expression of pain he had on his face might also be from Kobe's head hitting his knee cap or shin...VERY painful when that happens.

Bynum should sit out every Memphis game since he got injured last season against the same team.

I'm disappointed that Bynum got injured not because I'm a fan but I prefer to face a top team like the Lakers when they're healthy and Boston's healthy.

As a Laker fan, I express true dissapointment we can't watch Thursday night to see these two teams go at each other full strength.

Will not for one second take anything away from Boston should they win, because we are still a good team without Bynum, but this no doubt takes a little wind out of the sails of the matchup.

Either way, thank you all for the showing of respect unlike some who came on our board. Much appreciated, and good luck Thursday night

Totally agree, I really wanted us to go at each other at full strength. Hopefully he's ok

Props Maxwell, I wouldn't wish that on any of you guys players either even though the hate is mutual. Sports is sports but that type of stuff comes down to humanity also

Its too bad that this injury happened. Now both teams are missing starter caliber players. First Scalabrine and now Bynum goes down. (just kidding)
