Celtics vs Timberwolves - Sunday February 1st

Post#1 » by GYBE » Sun Feb 1, 2009 2:12 pm

I wanted to get a game thread up to remind everyone that we have an early game today at noon.

The Wolves had a great January, going 10-4. It's always fun to watch Big Al do his thing, still one of my favourite players in the league. After getting snubbed for the All Star team he dropped 34/13 on the Lakers in his last game. The Wolves start two other ex-C's with Gomes and Telfair.

It will be good to see Big Al back in the garden.

P.S. awesome sports lineup today.

If WTB puts his up, we can merger or delete this. 12pm start is really odd, but I am psyched nonetheless.

Perk was fined $10,000, but no suspension. Davis gets the start today. (according to Boston.com)

Powe wasn't even close to touching Big Al.

Pretty bad call there.

Nice floater perk!

TA had a nice move to end the quarter. He's been really aggressive so far.

I want Rondo to start looking for his own offense. A few times in the quarter he had some great chances to finish at the hoop, but chose to pass it off instead.

Pierce is getting mauled out there. He's been fouled on every one of his misses.

I'm sorry, but those are some ugly uniforms. They should have went with a darker blue. I went to the minny board, and I saw some of their sigs and avys, and they were nice, black and blue colors, wolves. Minny should have went to them for their design taste.
