Tonights game made painfully clear what I didn't want to see. 1. Nash tries like crazy to guard opposing guards but is simply unable. This is further complicated by other players not backing him up. 2. Stat could do a lot more than what he is even if things aren't being run through him or to his liking. He could have added at least 5 rebounds if he would have just hustled to his spot. 3. Terry Porter (a good coach or not) doesn't know how to fix this team. He wants to but doesn't have the credibility or creativity to make something happen. If he had to play the same team tomorrow he would not deviate from this games plan. 4. We have a good owner who spends lots of money but made a terrible choice in a GM. I love Kerr as a person but he has no clear vision or strategy in transitioning the former coaches team into one of his liking. No one likes to lose but our GM just doesn't know how to build a winner. I am a die hard suns fan of 3 decades. I was at the MadHouse on Mcdowell to see Alvin Adams, Paul Westphaul, etc... BTW I was at KJ's and Tom Chambers first game here in Phoenix. For the first time in my life I don't feel like watching anymore. (I know I will but I just feel bad).

this brings us 1 game closer to firing Kerr & Porter. This is beyond pathetic at this point. Losing to a team playing their 3rd road game in 4 nights.
I have never held any strong belief in this team this season because it's so clear the players dont give a fu** about what their coach believes in

Even if Porter is right in what he has tried to achieve it's never going to happen because 1/2 ofthe team hasn't brought into anything he has tried to install

I don't think Porter is a BAD coach I just think he was probably the worse fit for a team like hte Suns with so many veterans who have accomplished alot with their careers already.

-- I've come around to this point of view. i can even live with the Bowen hackery - Spurs were on a roll and Porter wanted to slow them down. Didn't work but I've gotten over my initial reaction which was just short of kicking in the tv screen.
+1 that Porter is just the wrong guy for this team but the bad news is that I can't see Sarver paying for another coach and Porter's salary as well, which he'd have to. I think it's far more likely we trade some core guys away to build a team more in line with Kerr/Porter's "vision".
I agree that in a saner world a coach who's lost the key members of a team should go; that's just the way it is. But this is the Suns, remember ... I think Nash and Amare may soon be gone.
G***damn how did this team get so messed up so fast. It's hard to believe

It wasn't the first time this year, but watching the game tonight, I was struck by how invisible Amare was. Twice in the second half, it took me 3-4 possessions before I realized Amare was actually on the court -- and I only realized it because he grabbed a defensive board. This, to me, is not acceptable. I'll say it again -- if that's how you're going to utilize Amare, you're better off trading him for a guy like Udonis Haslem & picks. What a waste of a spectacular offensive talent.
--- Well said. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
