Mason is in the three point shootout

Multiple sources have stated the Roger Mason has been invited to participate in the 3 point shootout. I, for one, am pretty excited by his inclusion. His shooting stroke should work really well in that set up.

It would be cool if Bonner got the invite too, but we couldn't have too much SA in the allstar game

There's just a juicy irony to Mason competing in the 3 point contest in Phoenix after beating the Suns with that buzzer beater on Christmas day.

No way. Mason's the only guy in the league who's top 10 in 3's made and 3pt percentage. Bonner's got the percentage, but he's like 40th in the number made. Besides, Mason's got the highlights. Every fan in the NBA knows what he did on Christmas Day. Bonner's been shooting the ball great all year, and the Spurs are a better team for it, so I've got nothing against Matt. But the all-star weekend is for show and Mason's got the flashier resume.
