Super Bowl

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Feb 1, 2009 11:10 pm

What a joke to have Matt Millen on a panel with Dungy and Holgren,

I enjoy games where I don't care who wins, like this one. I like Warner so I guess I'd like to see the Cards win but I just want a good game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Same for me, except replace Warner with Fitzgerald.

I like the Cardinals. Not sold that the Steel City can keep up if they get down.

Now for the real question. What did you make for the game?

Customary Bloody Mary's for me and this dip

(doubled)

1 lb hot italian sausage
1 lb hamburger
3 oz Velveeta (3" or more if you like)
1 can Cambell's nacho cheese soup
12 oz med. Picante sauce
1/2 cup milk
1 can mushrooms
1 large onion chopped
1 tbs hot sauce

Brown and drain meet & onions. Melt in Velveeta, soup, mushrooms, milk and sauce. Simmer 10-15 minutes.

YUM.

Same for me, except replace like with hate. Oh, wait... I guess that's not the same.

I do enjoy games, though, where I don't really care who wins, I just hope for a good game. I have a feeling the Steelers might go GSP on the Cards though.

I turned this one off at the half and hoped it would get better in the 4th. Um, check.

Hell of a game. I hope Zona can get seven here.

Errr, how can the ball go that far if the arm wasn't coming forward.

How was that not a pass? Ridiculous. Just like the last Super Bowl the Steelers were in.

This is surreal. I was 100% sure that was a pass. Even if it's still a ridiculous longshot, you have to give the Cards that shot.

I agree 100%
I also didn't care about who won this game but i sorta got swept up and started rooting for the Cards. the personal foul on AZ when Big Ben was bumped was also a terrible call.
With that 15yrd penalty I would have really liked to see a jump ball try for Fitzgerald to end the game.

No way in holy hell that was a fumble. Got to give the Cards another chance there. They have the best go-up-and-get-it guy in the business - that game was not over.

Ugh, whatever. At the end of the day I guess I don't really care who won the game, but it would have been nice to see the Cards win.

Worked out great for me

I owed my buddy 40 bucks from losing to him playing Tiger Woods Golf while drunk. He wanted to go double or nothing while taking the Cardinals and the spread, but i was only willing to give him three points.

BTW, i thought it was a fumble and that had nothing to do with my bet. Pops to Ben, he made some great throws and plays on that final drive by alluding pass rushers.

Amazing game. I had respect for Pittsburgh before this game but they have a bunch of punks on their team. The last call was questionable but hey what can you do...it was an amazing game and an amazing season!

I was at a Steeler party, but I was secretly cheering for the Cards. I'm just glad it was a good game. Two in a row, hasn't happened in awhile.
