Who is your favorite non-Pacer/Who do you want most?

I just thought I'd get some discussion going about who your favorite non-Pacers are, and which player do you want most?

Sadly, I really liked Steve Francis from the time he was drafted. I guess he isn't even in the league now, BUT he is being paid by the Blazers and Grizzlies, and I think the Rockets paid the Grizzlies to take him, so possibly 3 teams! I don't like Illinois, but Deron Williams really won me over a couple years ago in the playoffs, so I guess he may be one of my favorites, and the player I would want most on our team (for the fact the he would really help our team and I like him. I'd rather have Lebron, but everyone wants him and we should be a little original).

LeBron James, hands down.

DJ Strawberry, but only for his name.

I also like Yi Jianlian a lot, actually, but we don't need another scoring wing, especially one with little to offer on defense.

Get me Paul Millsap. I wouldn't mind it at all.

1)Udonis Haslem: Smooth mid range jumper and gets those hustle rebounds
2)Jerryd Bayless: We had our chance too bad
3)Sam Cassell: Phone home

Favorite Non-Pacers:
1. Brad Miller - I miss this guy.
2. Fred Jones - We haven't had an exciting dunker outside of him in forever.

Players I'd Want To Get:
1. Paul Millsap - Just the guy we need to go with Hibbert, Granger, and Rush for the future.
2. Raymond Felton - This guy would break out in our offense. He is the exact type of player we need at PG.

Favorite non-Pacers-
1. Carmelo Anthony - I'm a big Syracuse fan and loved what he did for us in 2003. I really like his game and i do enjoy watching Denver play. Glad they got rid of Iverson, that was a pain to watch. I only wish the best for Anthony.
2. Manu Ginobili - Love his game. Never quits. Doesn't care if he starts or plays bench. Always gives his all. He has the same passion for the game that Reggie Miller had.
3. Deron Williams - Love how he plays the game. He's so calm and always makes the right decisions. When he came to the NBA, i thought he'd be a bust, and i was proven wrong, so much so, that i love watching him play whenever Utah is on tv it's must see tv.
4. Rudy Fernandez - Followed him in Europe when Larry Bird used to fly over the pond to see him play. 2007 draft i watched and hoped Pacers would come up with a deal to draft him. Oh well. But now in the NBA, he's still fun to watch for me.

Player i want MOST -
1a.LaMarcus Aldridge - Also one of my favorite to watch but i didn't want to include him on both lists. But, he's the player id want most. I love his touch on offense, i love his basketball IQ, i love his inside game, he's a good shooter, good leader, very good rebounder. His defense can improve but a player like this would be perfect for our current Pacers. I love his clutch shots too.
2b. Greg Monroe.

Chris Paul. I am partial to point guards. I love the way he plays, his attitude, and how he makes a largely mediocre team around him into stars.

Dwight Howard. How can you not like him? Its so fun to watch him. He has so much fun out there, he always has a big smile on his face, and he is an absolute monster down low. So many players are in it for the money or mail it in half the time, but you can tell this guy is always having fun out there. Its really refreshing in today's NBA.

Eric Gordon. As an IU grad, I am extremely pleased to see a Hoosier playing well in the NBA. Hes actually a really nice guy too.

Greg Oden. He is such a nice person, and a different kind of NBA player. He doesnt fit the stereotypes, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the game. I hope he can stay healthy in his career, because he really deserves to succeed.

Fav non-pacers
1.Iggy
2.CP3
3.D> Howard
Playerrs i want the most
any of those^ three i guess. think about all of them playing with danny, could be 4/5 of the defensive team of the year in a couple of seasons
Not completely obvious pick
Sarunas.... i really liked him and would have loved to seen him play in a system like we have now and i think him would pair nicely with jack or daniels in the backcourt

M4E, I really like DJ, too. I like almost all Maryland Terps. They are the "random" team that I have liked time like 5th grade (10 years ago). It seemed like everyone liked (and kind of still seems the same) either Duke or UNC. I kind of like the underdog and try and like teams that everybody likes and be a little unique.

cdash: I agree with a lot of what you posted. I really like PGs, too, and think a good one is always needed to be a good team. I usually just favor smaller guys too; not sure why... Maybe they sometimes look more flashy, I don't know. CP3 is just awesome. I also like Dwight Howard. He is awesome, too, and when I have gone to Magic games it seems like he signs autographs for a while, which is cool (I don't think I have seen them for a year. I hope he still does it). Plus you gotta like the hometown boys of EJ and Oden. I don't know EJ as well as Oden, but they both seem to be nice, laid-back guys. I would add Conley into their category as well.

No Restrictions?

Get me Ricky Rubio,...call his people find out when he is going pro and start stocking up on potential lottery picks in that draft. This kid can play basketball, I think his game translates well to the nba, and we get the franchise PG.

NBAers
Iggy - If he could play along side Danny somehow I'd trade for him.
Milsap - undersized but who cares, trade jeff foster for him and allow the Jazz to get boozer back.
Amar'e - we could move all expiring salaries for this guy, and a young Roy Hibbert or B.Rush, and some picks, cash whatever, if this guy is unhappy and the suns are looking to move away from his style of play. I heard on SI.com he might be available.

Favorites
1. Brandon Roy - just so smooth with the ball, and a type of player that just wins games
2. Deron Williams - because people say I look just like him lol except without that crazy beard thing he has going on now lol
3. Nene - because his name is Nene of course anybody who has no last name is cool in my book, and also from what happened to him last year it took a strong person to come back stronger

Player I would love on the Pacers

Brandon Roy would be my favorite to play with Granger

I would also love to see Amar'e on our team dunking on everyone

Brandon Roy is by far my favorite player not wearing blue and gold. The kid is a warrior on the court and has a great attitude as well. He and Danny are in similar situations where if they were playing in bigger markets they would be superstars, fully equipped with endorsement deals and all that extra crap that comes with playing in a big market.

Both due to their play but more for their positive personalities.

I want
1. Aldridge
2. Harris
Again for the same reason as my Howard and Duncan.

Getting Amare would be awesome. Although unrealistic, I give us a .004% chance.

Chris Paul, or Kevin Garnett.

What? That's his weakest area. The guy is soft, he's a lot like a better Channing Frye. He can't rebound at all really, and when he does it's just from his height/length not toughness. He only averages 6.8 rebounds in 36 minutes, so if that's very good you must think Troy is God.

My favorite non-Pacer and the guy i wanted most to become a Pacer:

David Lee - Last year, it seemed to me that he was the only guy in New York who cared about winning. He plays with heart and it's obvious. Often underrated but can be very solid.
