Just letting everybody know, the third pick is up for grabs. Mostly looking at first, third, or short to improve. Maybe an arm, pretty much open to anything tho. Hit me with a pm if your interested.

Re: 2008/2009 MLB Dynasty League Offseason
Why don't we just start it now and with no time limits? I know me and Ty will be able to make our picks relatively quick and if things get stuck on someone who isn't ready or prepared then no big whoop. It might save people who rely a lot of the BA/BP lists out there time if they know if some guys have already been taken off the board. The first round should be pretty easy considering that me and Bovey have almost half the picks. Just an idea, I'm fine if we have to wait. mahalo

Fine with me as long as somebody trades me for something I want.

Sent you two proposals SSK.

You're the only one here named Ty. At the end of the season, we were talking about Kazmir and first basemen. I then dropped off the grid and haven't been around to talk. I should be around more often in the next few weeks if you're still interested. mahalo

Something I'd like to square away...
I said this about the ROOK/FA draft order a while ago on the first post. On how to fill the vacated spots with the new managers:
I think we're going to go with that if it doesn't offend anyone. Kazanovicz (13th in the prospect draft) will take over the #3 ROOK/FA pick, Stud (9th) will take over the #4 ROOK/FA pick and Mauve (5th) will take over pick #7.
I said this about the ROOK/FA draft order a while ago on the first post. On how to fill the vacated spots with the new managers:
It's an inexact science but I'm thinking maybe it would be fair to take the opposite order of whatever the prospect draft order is for these guys. Let's say in the prospect draft Stud gets the 3rd pick, Mauve gets the 6th pick and Kaz gets the 9th pick (just random examples), then for the ROOK/FA draft Kaz would take over pick #3, Mauve would take pick #4 and Stud would take pick #7. I'm still up in the air about that but it's the best I can think of off the top of my head.

And yeah, I'm cool with that idea Chach, why don't we go with that. There will be absolutely no timetable for picks though because it's so early so this means nobody complains if someone is gone for 4-5 days and can't pick. Got it guys?

Knew it. He was number one on my board as well. Just a reminder for everyone, as always you're not allowed to talk about guys until they're drafted.

Kazanovicz and I have agreed to a trade.
I will be sending him the #2 ROOK/FA pick, a 2nd round prospect pick (#17) and my 4th round prospect pick (#40) for his 1st and 2nd round prospect picks (#13 and #14).
I receive: #13, #14 prospect picks
He receives: #17, #40 prospect picks and #2 ROOK/FA pick

Thats pretty weird. Not saying it's a bad pick, but there was definitely no consensus best player, a good argument could be made for about 10 prospects being just as good if not better than him.
Edit-Wow, I wonder who he thinks will be available in that draft. Looks like Sett is already taking advantage of someones first year in the league (like he did me with the Burnett trade).

Haha, at some point you're going to have to accept that I got the better of that trade bigboy. Andrew Miller was a flop and although Maybin is still a top prospect he has made no impact on your fantasy team yet.

And although I think you got Colby Rasmus with that pick, that was purely brilliant drafting and should be a credit to you not a reflection on the trade.

I wouldn't say Andrew Miller is a flop. He was pretty unlucky last year and he is still only like 23. Plus I traded him for Weeks, who also needs to realize his potential.

I dunno, the Marlins franchise is where young pitchers go to flourish and he still sucked it up. Maybe he can pull a Gavin Floyd though.

Chach, Brett Anderson is in my system. Now that I know you think so much of him, you wanna trade for him?

I'm rarely on RGM any more so if one of you can IM me if I need to do something (that is, if I'm still in the league), that'd be awesome.
