I'm not sure Wuertz had a good chance of making the bullpen roster anyways. These prospects do not look that good but it was a decent move. It would be a waste to pay Wuertz him 1 mil+ in the minors.

I honestly dont think Wuertz was better than anyone other righty in the pen. Knowing our luck Wuertz will turn it around ala Eyre and Ohman.
