How we let Dallas come into our building and completely outplay us is beyond me, and there can be no excuses. Meer's injury happened long after we stopped giving effort, and had little to no bearing on the outcome. Hedo was awful, I give Shard a bit of credit for effort on Dirk but he never looked like stopping him tonight, Dwight was great on offense and decidedly mediocre on D, our shooting guards were collectively very poor....not much else to say. Just a bad, bad performance.

Pretty much. Type of night that has the potential to derail a season. Dont think it will but it can. Wow just sad.

Ay, he'd be better than him with no arms.

Dude could dribble with his chin and be more effective than Anthony "Give Me The Ball While I Stall The Offense And Don't Pass It Until There's Only 10 Seconds Left On The Shot Clock" Johnson.

When AJ gets it past halfcourt with committing an 8 second violation, I praise the Lord.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Dwight was great of offense but he didnt even try on defense. Just standing there watching people take it to the hole. Amare like on offense and Amare like on defense....

Start Pietrus and Lee in the backcourt and have Hedo play point forward.

Dwight was awful on defense. I thought he would be more willing to play defense if he was having a good offensive night, but I guess I was wrong.

If Jameer didn't get injured, I'd still be extremely angry about the pathetic performance, but still, we're 36-11 and it's just a bad night.

But with the injury, and him not playing in the ASG now (Mo Williams, I hope you're happy), I'm in pure Doom and Gloom mode right now.

Fact of the game:

"Orlando has put together some stirring third quarters, but not on this night. Howard picked up back-to-back offensive fouls and then Nelson was injured with the Magic trailing 56-51."

So, basically, when Jameer left in the 3Q we were down 5 with possession of the ball. How did it get out of hand so fast?

Ugh...we were outscored 21-12 the rest of the 3Q when Meer checked out of the game.

Im actually more dissapointed that it looks like Meer wont go in the AS game.. The one question i had is why didnt we try throwing Dwight at Dirk at any point? Shard did a fine job, but Dwight has that height an jumping thing goin for him..

Stan needs to adjust better when we aren't hitting 3's. Like a lineup of AJ, Lee/Pietrus, Lewis, Battie, Dwight. Just nothing but post ups and drives.

Yep, horrendous defensive effort.

We'll know how bad things are for Jameer after his MRI results come back tomorrow. Jameer doesn't know when and how he injured his shoulder (I can bet money it was Ericka). They popped his shoulder back into place immediately in the locker room and was wearing a sling during the postgame locker room session.

:( :( :( :( :( :( :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa:

After I saw Jameer running for the locker room clutching his shoulder with his arm hanging limp, I didn't much care what happened the rest of the game.

What a bummer for him after making the all star team. Didn't he make the sophomore team and have to miss that because of injury?

Just got home from the game, wont know about Nelson until tommorrows MRI. Even before Nelson's injury the team looked lethargic out there. Dallas pretty much got whatever shot they wanted. Anthony Johnson never went to the left ever! Every slow ass walk of his down the floor was to the right with his back to the basket. If they thought we could make it to the finals with him as a backup, someones on drugs....Now with nelson hurt we are in deep **** long term. JJ should stay discouraged and sit his sorry ass on the bench. At times I felt bad for him, but after watching him give up 3 consecutive shots on defense, and then coming the other way and "thinking" he can drive to the basket, he needs to stay on the bench and get traded.<br>

The problem is the only players Otis is willing to give up(JJ, Bogans, Cook) no one wants. I know its only one game and sorry for venting but when you pay your hard earned recession dollars to see your team play 50%, it kinds pisses me off.

Great to see Dwight scoring, but he was a black hole. The ball went in to him and didn't come back out. Three points are better than two. He clearly had no defensive mindset tonight.
