Oh, did you guys see Chris Whitney sitting in the frontrow by one of the baskets, or was that me?

They must know I'm a glutton for punishment

enjoyed the game tonight, or I should say I enjoyed having great seats.

Then my daughter, cute little Wiz fan that she is, gets tabbed to be
the StubHub fan of the game. Bingo, 2 more free tix, This is getting
ridiculous. Think Gil will be playing by mid-March?

No need to really comment on the game. Except to say the kids got
a bit of run. Not sure why we should start Mike James anymore.
Just play Crittenton 30-35 mpg. Yeah it'll be ugly sometimes.
But it'll payoff either in experience or knowledge of our
"stockpile of talent".

quick wizboard note - I saw a guy in the general area where BobbyD
sits with an old red white blue Bullets Jersey, couldn't catch the number
or name (Wes Bobby, E?) but was wondering if that was him?

I'm loving what we've seen from J-Critt the last few games. Dude is proving he is a capable backup, and hopefully after the ASG he'll be in the starting lineup. I think it was all mental and now that he's getting comfortable with the offense, his shot is going to fall a lot more. Will he ever be Gilbert out there? No, but that isn't what we want out of him at all. He'll be a player for sure.

Cute kids are a blessing indeed, Jim!

They can get you a lot of freebies, man. My kids have gotten me free airport and ground transportation, great restaurant service, and lots of free food. Most of all, I've met a lot of interesting people through the kids, whether at youth sports or just in passing.

Jim, I'm glad to read you get to experience the joy of taking your daughter(s) to the Wizards games. Nothing like having the kids take in sporting events. :) Bad as the season's gone, you get the big picture. Enjoy!

I'm looking forward to taking my sons to some of the Pro Bowl stuff coming up here this weekend. I'm thinking of calling in Friday and instead of going to work, getting the boys out of school 2-3 hours early just to enjoy the festivities. Since this is the last Pro Bowl in HI, I want to take it all in.

Does taking the kids out of school to go be "jock sniffers" make me a bad dad? :(

PS All of us on this site are gluttons for punishment because the Wizards are dead men walking.

No, that wasn't me Jim. I sold that game to someone else a while ago. I'll be at the Nuggets and Bulls games this month, unless I get lucky and sell those games as well.

Crittenton's on/off differential was -20. He had a good start, getting 3 assists in 5 minutes in the first quarter, but he sucked after that. Over his remaining 14 minutes of action, he had 4 points, 0 assists and a turnover.

I'd be going overbaord to say I LOVE what I'm seeing from Critt, but in the words of
Marv A, he's showing some signs.
