As much as Mary's threads annoy me (not sure why), he has as much right as anyone to post his thoughts. As Frank so eloquently put it, this is a FORUM where people vent their opinions, and whether you agree with them or not, it isn't the place to diss the poster personally.
And the next person to say BAN or SUSPEND for no justifiable reason is most likely going to get one themselves for backseat modding. I haven't been able to log on as much as I would like to, but have been reading all the threads etc so my finger's on the pulse.

MaryvalesFinest wrote:Well first off Maryvale is a upscale district in west Phoenix, as for the rest I was saying that calling someone "not a Suns fan" just because they don't support a player is like calling a Nash fan anti-American

Wikipedia wrote:Maryvale is the predominant neighborhood of the near west side, from about 35th Avenue west to 83rd Avenue and from I-10 north to the boundary with the suburb of Glendale at Camelback Road. First developed in the 1950s and 1960s by developer John F. Long, these neighborhoods include inexpensive homes largely developed in the 1950s.
Like many older inner-ring suburbs in the United States, the Maryvale district is suffering urban decline as the belt of growth has passed by, moving ever outward. Shopping in this area is provided by Desert Sky Mall, and once Maryvale Mall, Cricket Pavilion offers an open-air entertainment amphitheatre for concerts and attractions. Because of the lower housing costs, Maryvale has attracted large numbers of families and immigrants from all over the world, notably from Mexico and other Latin American countries. It is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the Phoenix metropolitan area.[citation needed]
Unfortunately, Maryvale since the 1990s has seen a significant growth in crime and gang membership.[citation needed] Although efforts are being made by the Phoenix Police Department to help lower the crime rate that is present in Maryvale which has surpassed that of South Phoenix in crime per capita which is higher in Maryvale than other sections of the Phoenix area.

Ahhh mary, mary, mary. There’s something about mary if he thinks his "hood" is upscale! The crazy house is calling you man.
I only read you threads for pure entertainment and to see what kind of moronic things you will say. I love the dollar store comment. BOOM, OUTA HERE!

--- My opinion is that I don't like to see anyone banned or exiled for their opinion unless they descend into the category of hate i.e racist attacks.
Those who find Maryvale's posts irritating, pointless, inflammatory to no real purpose - set her as foe and just ignore the fool. Those who want to play with her, feel free. Those who don't can converse with posters more to their taste.
I've sent a few people to the bench, and I may be on someone else's.
I'm with Frank on this - the proper response to stupidity is to stop talking to the idiot. Some day science will find a cure, but not today..

Posted before I got a chance. It used to be positively scary, now it's more like Glendale.
Honestly, I thought that was always part of the joke in the name "Maryvale's Finest," like if someone named themselves "Van Buren's Finest."

Ugh, I found most people from Scottsdale to be really, really, really annoying*. You're a Suns fan so you get a pass of course, but between the barhopping I did with nevetsov and my year of teaching in the area ... ugh.
It's one of few places I've gone where I walked away with a stronger stereotype than when I arrived.
* To be fair, I find a lot of people to be disturbing to me in one way or another, and I am judging a whole city based on the uppity parents at the school I taught at, and clubbers.
