Nelson out the whole season?

Post#1 » by Amon_Ones88 » Wed Feb 4, 2009 6:52 pm

First i heard just a few weeks. It was a debate if he was even gonna miss the All-star game. Anyone know more? And as nice as it would be to have Mo in the game, lets look at more of a big picture, the Magic are in serious danger with him gone. The have been on the brink of great and elite, and I think he has been putting them over that line. With him out the definitely fizzle down to a clear cut three, with opportunity for other teams to slip up past them. What do you guys think?

Agreed... Its unfortunate that he was injured, and I think that it pretty much locks them into the 3 seed. They will fall back a little from Boston and Cleveland, but not enough to be passed for that 3 seed. Then I see them falling in the Conference Semi's to the 2 seed (either one, CLE or BOS). I just think it would be too much to overcome if they don't have homecourt for that series, which i don't believe they will.

No sympathy for ORL. We got our own injury problems to deal with.

Maybe you haven't read any of the other threads on our board about Nelson's injury. No one wants to see him out for the year or missing the AS game. He's a quality person. The Cavs played a month without our second best player and are about to see a month without our best perimeter defender. I think that's why BB felt no sympathy for Orlando. We know what the injury bug can do to a team. And there won't be anyone coming over here feeling bad for the Cavs if another one hits us. Go back to the Orlando board joshman. There were some really cool Orlando fans that came here, you are not one of them. Class is something you know nothing about, you've never displayed it here. Go cry in your beer, if you're old enough to buy it.

I'm not trying to cause problems or anything but that isn't a very classy thing to say. I know as a Magic fan I want to face everyone with their whole team healthy to see really who is the best team. To have no sympathy for a guy like Jameer is heartless. He has been criticized and maligned his whole career and now he finally proves everyone wrong and plays at an All Star caliber level and now is out for the season. That right there is a shame.

You guys lost guys for weeks at a time not the season. We just lost our starting PG for the entire season and your comparing the two situations. C'mon man your better than that.

Consider yourselves lucky because the Magic at full strength>>>>the Cleveland Lebron's

Jameer's a great player, its a shame he went down like that. No one wants that.

But..

We live in Cleveland.

Home of the Shot. Home of the Drive. Home of the Fumble.

Sympathy?

the joshman special straight from the magic board

None.

This can only help us, and Cleveland's schedule is about to get a little bit harder.

I agree with Devin. Sucks for West. Good for us.

Lol i didn't mean to spark a harsh debate. I just wanted to know how long he is out. And guys regardless of how good he is, it is always good for our team when another team's AS goes down, even if we do have sympathy.

No, the Magic at full strength >> Cleveland minus two starters.
