Which former #6 overall pick would you rather have?

Yeah, but aren't both healthy. Regardless I'm pretty sure I would pick Kellen.

I'd take Davis.

WAY to much upside to pass up IMO.

The season before last season, Winslow was out for the season. Last season Vernon only missed 6 games. Anyway, I pick VD

Both are nothing more than oversized receivers. Neither can block worth a damn (though Winslow, at times, looks like he understands the concept of blocking) and neither is worth anything in the running game. Davis has the better receiver skill set but Winslow is better running pure TE routes. I'd go with Winslow, maybe.

You couldn't be more wrong, Davis takes pride in blocking.

Does not mean that he excels at it.

I think Winslow is a better receiver. I'll take him.

He excelled at it last year so you have no point.

You're right. I don't have a point :dontknow:

I did not watch Vernon Davis at all last season.

But you quoting directly from him that he "Takes pride in his blocking" doesn't prove anything nor did it add anything, besides the fact that he takes pride in his blocking. It could be that he's absolutely horrendous at it, but he could still take pride in it.

They seem pretty equal to me with regards to potential. I'd take Davis b/c I haven't heard any personal issues about him.
