Question about Collison

Post#1 » by SportsFan215 » Thu Feb 5, 2009 1:22 am

Does OKC want to move Collison because of his salary and contract length or would they rather move someone with an expiring contract, like Wilcox or J. Smith?

Can Desmond Mason be used in a trade just as an expiring contract?

I don't think that they're looking to move Collison currently. I also don't believe that they would trade away Desmond. At the very least, they'll make every public appearance possible that they are trying to keep Mason around, even if it doesn't end up that way.

Wilcox, Watson and Smith could all be had for a pretty reasonable price I would guess...

To OKC, possibly Smith... I would think that management would be expecting more in return for Wilcox due to his age and low-post scoring ability.
