Honestly I think the Jazzs problem is they have no "shot-makers". We have no guy on our team where in a big game if they are open you just know it is going in. Other teams have lots of guys like that. We dont have one.

Sloan=classless

There is no need for Memo and Deron to be in. His flop on Barrea on Offense shows Deron is done.

The Mailman is very complementary of Stockton tonight. He cannot shut up about how much Stockton made him.

To have one negative about this game it would be Deron getting careless with the ball. If he wants to make that leap to elite and above Paul he needs to learn how to not make those 3 dumb TOs he made tonight. He has to have controlled furry on Offense and no over do it with shooting. I thought he had a great approach to the game tonight, he didnt start by getting teammates involved, he didnt start by finding his shot...he just went out there and played the game by ear. Open the lane, take it the hole, come under the screen he punished them with the jumper. Thats the way he needs to play the game. Just work on keeping the turnovers down.

Deron post all star snub:

28 ppg
10.5 apg

60.6 FG%
50 3PT%

If you leave out the two games where he was limited by that sick bug he got, he averaged over 23 points and 11 assists per game on 48% shooting for the month of January. The dude is straight ballin. We're getting a small glimpse of what we could have seen if not for that fateful night in october when some dumb ass rook slide under our franchise player 30 feet from the hoop. Deron could easily be averaging 22 and 12 for the season if not for that injury. We'll never know for sure, but we're starting to see the All-NBA Deron Williams again on a nightly basis. When Boozer gets back, a lot of people are going to pay for counting us out.

...and I know a lot of people here don't give it much credence, but this game should push DWill over the 20.0 mark in PER. Its been inching up steadily. Now, even with nearly a month of hobbled performances, his production ranks among the top 30 players in the league.

^^Those look sick. I credit some of DWills dumber moments in last nights game to him wanting to impress the national audience. Especially with the multiple heat checks he started chucking in the 2nd half.
