Jazz @ Kings: Webber's Retirement

Post#1 » by ICMTM » Fri Feb 6, 2009 10:15 pm

I'm going to be there. I think the game is near sold out, too. I think Webber deserves to bring the house down one more time.

Oh and somewhere in the mist of all that a game will be played, too. Utah played last night so there is hope.

Here's to the big man!!! Thanks for the memories!

Hopefully the emotion of the night will inspire the team to play with some heart and pride. Let's send C-Webb's jersey to the rafters with a win...he deserves nothing less.

I will be at the game as well. I figured since I was only going to go to one game this year it would be the game where we retire Webber's number. I decided to go all out and get tickets centercourt near courtside. I hope the players get motivated for this one because I am going to be rocking Arco. I want to see Arco rock the house at least once this year. I've got my Webber jersey and all. Let's get this started already!!! If it is like 39 to 16 after the 1st quarter I am going to be so pissed.

Oh and yeah Utah played last night but it was a blowout so they were able to rest there starters more than usual.

Great pic KIE. Can't get much better than Webber dunking on Horry and the Lakers.

Please, win this game. If not for your fans or the City of Sacramento, then at least do it for Chris Webber.

Yeah, I would be really disappointed if we don't play with a lot of energy and hustle. A win here would be special for this day.

But yeah, thanks for the memories C-Webb. You are one of my reasons why I started watching basketball.

I'm a raptors fan but I love C-Webb. One of my fave players all time. I'll watch his retirement ceremony.

Should be a good WELL DESERVED night. Whether we win or lose it doesn't matter, it's going to be a night fans will hopefully leave from happy and fulfilled.

I've been looking forward to this for some time. Hopefully our team brings the energy all four quarters and that our fans fill those sound meters like we use to. So if your going make sure the players can hear you! Wish I could go, but I already have the game tivoed and I'll be watching the House Party for the first time this year.

Do I think will win..? No not really, but I think it will be a good game if we bring the energy, and if the Jazz have a bad night, as they are on their back-to-back, we mite have a shot to get a W.

Congrats to CWebb and Long Live the Greatest Sacramento King!

He's done so much for the team and organization, he never got the appreciation that he so rightly deserved and sadly he will never get it.

i hope someday he comes back and coach the kings...

Glad Natt brought Cisco in early to try to stop Williams. Beno just can defend guards line him.
