What about Chris Webber?
It seems that it would be quite difficult to trade for a decent big.
What about trying to bring Chris Webber out of retirement a la Reggie Miller?
He would fill a definite role if he has anything left in the tank.

Click here for a current list of available NBA free agents.
All they need is a power forward/center who can play solid defense the way P.J. Brown did last season.
The Big Show on WEEI today suggested that the Celtics should go after Stephon Marbury and Joe Smith.

Foster would give Boston more muscle underneath.

I'd made the suggestion of Eduardo Najera before. He would fit right into a defensive minded Boston team. And Jeff Foster would be a welcomed addition too.
On the other hand, I think Foster would be tougher to acquire from Indiana. Boston doesn't have the spare contracts to match his salary. Ditto for Watson.

Webber is done, too bad but the legs just gave way.
Not much out there to help the C's at this point. Aaron Williams or Danny Fortson would be my choice, I have no clue what they are doing now tho.

I honestly dont think you guys need any trades.
I mean sure for improving your bench a bit, but the solution to that problem is simple, keep two or even one of your big three on the court at all times, and allow the bench to rotate with your big three contiously, and then when you have a big lead, rest your big threes.
One thing I have noticed about Doc, is that even though you guys have a big lead, he tends to keep the starting lineup on the court instead of allowing your bench to play more minutes to get more comfertable with one and other, at least most game I have watched.

Foster has 3 years remaining. Boston has several guys with 2 years remaining, so there's a possibility, since Boston can save Indy money in 2010/11. With the recession hitting the Midwest very hard, Indiana could be looking to make as many cuts as possible.
