T-Mac has never been a clutch player in terms of hitting shots at the buzzer at the end of games and stuff like that , but this year's 4th quarter struggles are not because he is not clutch imo.
T-Mac barely scores in the 2nd quarter and barely scores in the 4th quarter , because he plays only half a quarter.
He plays all the 1st and 3rd quarters , and then sits until the 6 minute mark in the 2nd and 4th quarter sometimes even more.
We try to get it to Yao and we should , so Tracy can't get many shots and he is not in rythm.
IMO Adelman needs to change it up a bit , don't play T-Mac the whole quarter , take him out after 9 or 10 minutes and let him play 7 or 8 minutes in the 2nd quarter and 4th quarter especially.
Adelman like giving the players those long rests and it's not good imo , with the break between the quarters , and sitting half of the quarter they are out of rythm and have little time to do anything.
Maybe play T-Mac the whole 1st quarter , but only 9 minutes in the 3rd , we need our best players to play more in the 4th quarter.
Sorry that I wrote so much , it's because of my poor english , thoughts?

Post on ESPN's TrueHoop on game winning shots. T-Mac hit 28% of his. Kobe hit 25% of his(on over twice the attempts.)

Yeah what I am trying to say is that we have reason for optimism , only now Artest trying to fit into his role , guys are learning to play with each other , coaches trying to figure out the best rotation.
But with that said , if we get hit by snother series of injuries , even if everyone are 100% for the playoffs ,we are going no where since we won't have chemistry.

Re: T-Mac's 4th Quarter Struggles
Now that the second half of the season is rolling around, Rick needs to get serious with his rotations. It would be best to play McGrady to the three minute mark of the first, and bring him back at the seven or eight minute mark of the second. The whole playing T-Mac the whole first quarter, and sitting him until we have three minutes left in the second is crazy, and it doesn't utilize him effectively. He's a rhythm player, and stuff like that screws him up. We've lost too many leads because of stuff like this. I was happy to see Rick finally show a killer instinct and bring him back at the eight minute mark of the fourth last night. He needs to do more of it.
