Once Kaman comes back, will Camby come off the bench? I'm just wondering because I'm about to pull the trigger on a trade that I'd let go of Camby (he's a stud, nothing bad to say about him except his injury problems), Davis (low shooting percentage kills me every week), and Thornton (with Randolph back, his scoring and maybe minutes will go down) for Yao (injury concerns as well but not on the level of Camby's) and VC (scoring stud, and I'm in need for a SG because my only legit shooting guards are Nate Robinson and Sessions... if you can even call that legit).
So yeah... just wondering because the person I'm trading to is kind of a noob and he will realize he has 4 players on the same team so he'll be forced to drop one of them and because Kaman is "out", he will probably go with him, and I'm just wondering if I should pick up Turiaf or Kaman at that point... thanks.

Wouldn't surprise me if Kaman doesn't return this year. His injury is one that needs a lot of rest, and there just isn't any point with the Clippers current record.
So I'd pull the trigger. VC is an upgrade on Baron, and Yao is an upgrade on Camby. Thornton is just a throw in who isn't much good anyway.

I feel a bit wary about this trade because Thornton, Davis, and Camby all had dominating performances tonight against ATL.

Ok. Davis and Camby had "Big" nights.
Compare their stats vs tonight's standard game by VC / Yao.
Baron: 13p 4r 8a 2s 1x3ptm - 6-15 0-2
Vince: 12p 3r 8a 3s 1blk - 5-10 2-2
Camby: 16p 7r 6a 0s 0b - 6-7 4-5
Yao: 30p 6r 1a 1s 5b - 12-18 6-7
And Thornton... he had his 2nd best game for the year tonight. Still ranked 135th overall
Worst case scenario you pick up Turiaf who is ranked 141st overall. And 74th over last month. (basketballmonster.com).
Easy deal. Turiaf makes up for the blocks you miss with Camby. Speaking of which, Camby has blocked 2 shots in 4 games since Randolph's return.

Great points, thanks for the re-assurance.
