I missed the game tonight (work), what the **** happened? I was planning on staying up and watching the replay, but it doesn't seem worth it now.

Good lord.... Does anyone still want to see how far this team can go?

I still do, I mean it was only one game. Considering the circumstances of the game i figured it may be a loss. although they should be embarrassed about how bad it was.

Tell me who they play and I'll tell you right now how far they'll get.

We really need a trade. Yes, this was only one game, but this is a clear sign that Billups isn't much help if he doesn't have the weapons on his belt. I've had it with JR.

I hope along with you they do make a trade, but right now, they don't have alot to trade... and JR is BYC...so if they did want to trade him...would make it really tough. I was so pissed last night, I just couldn't say anything... yes, it is only one game, but I can't remember when teams like the Celtics, Lakers, Cavs, or Spurs get drilled by 34 in a game that wasn't that close. The major problem with our team is that you don't have consistent scoring off you bench...JR and Kleiza can be great or they can be awful and like Forrest Gump said, "you never know what you're going to get."

This up coming week should be interested...I just hope before the All-star break they play alot better at Miami and at Orlando

what team does have consistent bench scoring?
i suppose san antonio with ginobili...but he's a starter in almost every sense.

odom's inconsistent like crazy.

boston has what? house, baby and tony allen? those guys aren't consistent or even legit scoring threats.

cleveland....pavlovic, gibson and varejao?

houston with von wafer and chuck hayes?

.

you just can't read into games like these and draw conclusions. up until this point we were what? 20-1 against sub .500 teams? and undefeated with billups/melo in the lineup. we had done a superb job taking care of business......now one slip up and that's all out the window and everyone's pissed off and it's "same ol' nuggets"

nothing went right for us. everything went right for new jersey. 4th game in 5 nights vs. rested home team. overconfidence from winning huge the night before vs. team fighting to make playoffs.

it happens. the game was over 6 minutes into the 3rd quarter and everyone seemed to know it. there was 15 minutes of pure garbage time that just made the score look worse.

if we come out flat and mentally screwed up against miami...i'll be worried. getting your **** smacked once a season by a medicore team just happens sometimes. and in this case it can be for the better. my guess is everyone will come out with fresh legs, a chip on their shoulder, and good energy against miami...and it will be a blowout in our favor. and this game can be looked back upon as a reminder for not taking teams lightly in future games.

Corona, I don't think I am judging this by one terrible game...if I was...I would have said that the entire team, staff, and management should be gone... last night was a crappy, terrible, ridiculous night... things happen...

and maybe I worded things incorrectly... scoring off the bench, maybe not, consistent effort from your bench... probably would have been a better statement. I will reference what I have said about JR... just flat out amazing talent, he could be one of the 10 most talented in the league, but his effort and lack of focus some nights is just maddening. Kleiza isn't as talented, but does many of the same things as JR... one good game...2 bad. etc... So you don't think JR and Kleiza need to be more consistent to go further in the playoffs?

The only thing that's really backwards here is the 44 point blowout should have occurred one night before and the 21 point blowout Saturday.

By itself, Friday was very decent. Add Saturday on.....not so much.
