Game Thread: Wolves @ Hornets!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post#1 » by Mcfale313 » Mon Feb 9, 2009 12:04 am

I'm back for gamethreading

i know we are kinda in a low period where we lost 5 of 6, but every game worth a fight and we need to learn from our lost

last game if I'm McHale I learnt:

need to limit Randy Foye's FGA unless he somehow shows he's redhot
do not give Trashad any minute to decrease his trading values even more
Carney need to play 25 minutes+
Give the ball to Jefferson as a priority
Kevin love need to continue starting
Need to work on a trade
Dont trade miller, he's playing better and better lately
I miss cookie

anywayz

the game's location

Al and Love with 14 points and 7 boards already. they sure take advantage of the weak Hornets frontcourt! keep giving them the ball

Two things that would make Foye a sure fire go to player.

Reliable mid-range jumper

Learn how to get the line.

If he could do those two things consistently he would easily be 20 PPG for a season.

I'd say he needs a reliable pull-up J. he's actually decent with the step-back J.

but otherwise, yeah he needs to learn these things

And you know I don't think Foye has a bad mid-range game it's just that he rarely seems to use it.

agreed. he rarely uses it which makes it look like he's bad from there. I don't want to imply that he's good in that regard but he's decent.

Foye developed a tendency to not only take, but miss the last shot of a quarter, in whatever way, 3 point, layup, getting blocked.....u name it

maybe he can be more clutch as his game develops
