What an excellent observation, I believe WHOLEHEARTEDLY Coach Frank believes hes doing what's best for the team, however the bigger and more general moral conclusion is...at what point will he realize...he's not?

Hey guys good game I think you played very well without Vince. I was wondering during the game - do you consider VC your best player or Devin Harris?

I hadn't seen much of this year's Devin Harris, but he proved to me to be a player tonight. Hopefully we will see a lot of Harris-Nelson in the upcoming All-star games.

Brook Lopez was a beast. I loved watching the kid at Stanford and he is bringing it right now. He's got a bright future in front of him.

I think you guys have a great chance of becoming an elite team in the near future, especially if you can pull of this rumored Amare deal. Unfortunately for the rest of the East. And you have my boy Keyon Dooling. If I weren't a diehard Magic fan...

i was at the game and i got to thinking which team is my second favorite behind the magic in the east, and we faced them tonight. i like the harris/lopez duo a lot and you guys will get better with time. i think you guys should trade VC, especially if it gets you bosh or amare. once you trade him you will see even more of an improvement in devin's game because hit's do or die time for him and there is no vince to bail him out or vice versa (see carlos arroyo/keyon dooling in orlando and how it helped nelson) dooling was trash out there tonight, maybe jitters first game back in orlando. overall if you guys had stan van gundy as your coach you'd be much better. i think frank is the worst excuse for a coach in the league, bar none (not even terry porter). i just cant stand him because his offensive schemes are atrocious, and on top of that his lead assistant is brian frikkin hill who i absolutely cant stand.

so in order to become elite the nets must:
1. get a good head coach and a good staff to go along with it
2. trade vince carter, not because he sucks cuz he doesnt, but because it will improve harris even more
3. let time take care of things

if those three things are done, the nets are a 50 win team easy with the improvements of williams, anderson, lopez, harris, and yi
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

at this point Vince might be the only thing that's keeping Harris from becoming new "old" version of Iverson, not really sure that's a good thing. But I agree Carter should be traded if there's a good deal.

VC plays in this game we have a real shot at winning.

I don't think just trading him is the answer.

Harris, Lopez and co. improve and you add VC to that mix and I don't see how it makes us worse, only better, by far.

Trading VC won't necessarily improve anything but their stats.

Get a really good coach in here and utilize this team and different lineups to their strenghts and we would be extremely hard to beat.

Meh really not frustrated with this L, this team has been playing really well lately and I think we would have been much closer to winning this one if Vince was in.
Nice classy posts Magic fans btw.

As far as trading Vince goes, unless we get a really good offer that's gonna help the long term goals its a big no no as far as Im concerned, Vince has had a HUGE part in the improvement of both Devin and Lopez this season if it wasnt for him being the teacher and role model for this team both of them wouldnt have been nearly as good today.

That is just one of Frank's problems. And people here think if we get Amare things are going to change.

Anyway back to this game. This was another wasted lose. This was an opportunity to really test Lopez again. Why not post him up more see what he can do against Howard!!! The whole pick and roll with Lopez is getting old. Was I the only one that saw a few of those stupid pick and rolls go bad with some awkward situations. Why didnt Frank have SWill do the pick and rolls when Lopez and Swill were on together? SWIll like many of the people that dont get enough PT seem to be out of place. Not knowing what to do. Dribble Drive Offense was suppose to be part of the offense. Even with a LOW POST OPTIONI it is the only offense.

Oh well they are a better team.

Yes, the Nets did lose. But I didn't take it that way. This was good experience for Brook going up against arguably the best center in the NBA right now. He really held his own against Dwight. I'm sure this summer Brook will work his butt off as he now knows what it it takes to be an elite center in this league. Next season, Brook will be pretty scary and just scratching the surface of what he's capable of...
