LT or Stephen Jackson
I know that sounds stupid to a lot of you.
My reasoning is that LT has been going hard for a few years now. What do you guys think his chances of staying healthy are? My league uses yards, TD's and receptions. Jackson had all of that last year. What are his chances of staying healthy in comparison to LT? Just like Marshall Faulk, at some point LT has to start to lose a step. Do you think a decline may be on the horizon?

i would pick the tennessee defense over a swiss cheese.
I don't know...
I think that brick of swiss cheese has some good attributes. It's able to keep its man in front of it... And just a immovable force in the frontlines...
Something I can't say about the Titans D....

You take LT for the simple reason that no one would ridicule you for taking him over SJ based on last season...if you take Jackson and LT goes off again this season, although not highly likely, it would hurt too much.

I decided to depart from the "everybody else is doing it" approach to fantasy football. Do most of you also go along with the rest of the Yahoo rankings? I understand that he set a record last year. That means that he has less to prove this year. Since receptions are quite important in this league, I went with the best receiving back from last year. LT Averages 2,100 yards from scrimmage per year. Jackson had 2,300 last year and is aiming for 2,500 this year. What is LT aiming for this year? He set his record already.
So that means I took a guy who can realistically put up around 2,500 yards, around 100 receptions, and around 20 touchdowns. Is it that crazy?
I took the guy who has the potential to put up similar numbers to LT and has more to prove. Yes it is feast or famine in some people's eyes, but I think it's a justifiable pick. Not highly likely to repeat last year's performance means that he's not highly likely a no-brainer.
As far as the Tennessee defense goes, I picked them in like the 14th round. I can grab a D on the waiver wire if they don't work out. A defense always ends up emerging in the first four weeks so I didn't sweat it.
