Need help w/ a trade! Contender status anyone?? WHIR!!

So I offered a guy Caron Butler for Iggy and he countered offered for Kevin Martin. Should I do it?? I looked at the stats for the past month and Iggy's is putting up 21.2pts, 6 reb and 5.7 assists on .527% and 1.9 stl!!!! Compare that to Martin's: 24.5pts 3.7 reb and 2.5 assists on 41% from the field and 1.1stl. The Kings may shut Martin down towards fantasy playoffs. They are equally as bad as the Wizards this year (which means I need to dump Butler too!) God I hate it when teams shut down their star players when the playoffs are waaay out of sight. I understand why they do it but its BS!!!

Philly will be fighting for playoff positioning and Iggy is their go to guy. The emergence of Thad. Young and co. may force other players to focus less on Iggy than usual even tho he is the #1 option.

BTW, I realize that I don't even have a PG on my roster, but I am in 3rd (by a ways) in a very competitive 10 team league and it's safe to say I'm a lock for the playoffs. I am trying a different strategy this year--I loose on assists but dominate everywhere else!

I would be glad to help in return for any and all advice on this. All help appreciated!!

looking at those cats I would continue to pursue Iggy because KMart IMO isnt that good in your league because what KMart does best isnt there......fta ftm

ya do it that's a very good deal for you. From the look of your team, I believe you need to pull off a few more trades if you want to win it all. With DW on your team, you basically lose TO and FT%. Plus your team is not strong in assist so that might be trouble comes playoff time. 6:3 to start any matchup is not really good odds for ya. ALso you should try to move Maggette as well since 1) Warrior is a mess right now, no one is safe 2) Maggette's FTs is a waste on your team, I have Wade plus a couple of other good volume FT shooter to pair off with DW in one of my league and it's still not enough to win FT%.

Hate doing that but just seeing if any others have any input. I think I am going to accept the offer tonight just so it doesn't get pulled off the table....
