Guys, just a friendly reminder. If you can't make the draft , please remember to 'prerank' your teams. Yahoo allows you to change the draft order of the players they have ranked, for your own draft. It's a good idea to prerank anyway, it makes your life easier come draft day. Good luck, everyone!

nah, sunday is fine..please don't change it to Saturday...I will be working all day and in my job they blocked all the web sites....and 10:45am seems fine....

Ugh, ISSUES! Where do I begin? Let me try to start from the top. One manager pulled out, and that messed things up for everyone. For one, Yahoo seemed to take away our draft slot (10:45 a.m. today, Sunday), and made us into an 'autodraft' league. That basically means our draft will run on auto pilot, and Yahoo's system will basically make picks for us in an automated draft - based on your prerankings (if you didn't prerank, Yahoo uses their ranking system to draft for you).

Two, because we had an odd number of managers, Yahoo also prevented us from starting our league. So I made an 'executive' decision and deleted the last team that joined up, And1, hoping our league could start today. No one else seemed to want to join the league from the Knicks Forum. I'll try scouring the boards again for another manager, and re-invite And1 again if I can get another manager to join (leaving us with an even number of managers - 10).

Since Yahoo made us an autodraft league, I had to pick another draft date, so we could have a live draft again. The only convenient date seemed to be Tuesday, the 3rd, at 3:45 p.m. Obviously our draft slot today was no longer available... and most other draft slots, during the evenings this week for example, are not available. IF everyone thinks we should just go with the autodraft (unfair advantage to those managers who CAN make the draft), we should discuss/consider it.

Anyway, I'm sure your heads are all spinning right now. I apologize for what took place. But the manager who pulled out really screwed things up for us. I'll try to fix this as best I can, so hang in there. Please chime in, if you have any ideas/comments that may help/make things easier for us.

Oh yeah, for anyone who wishes to join up, here's the info: league # 234896, password - Osi (case sensitive). It's on Yahoo. Just jump on in. I'd like to give a reserved spot to And1, and I'll PM him the details of what happened, having him sign up again. But the priority right now should just be filling the spots so we can start the league again. Draft is now on Tuesday, the 3rd, at 3:45 p.m. If the majority just want an autodraft, so no one has an advantage if you can make the draft, we might have to just go with that.

Hey gang, I just locked up number of managers in the league, since the draft is so close, and we don't want another manager joining up to make the number of managers odd again. We'll still have a good season. And once the Giants board goes through a full season on RealGM, we should be okay with the fantasy league going forward. Sorry again for what happened.

Best part about it there are like 4 guys in the office who are HUGE Knick fans & theyre screensavers are of them with David Lee & Balkman. They said when the Knicks come to DC I can meet the team if I wanted!
