Question about Gary Vitti

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:23 pm

I was wondering Gary Vitti has been with the Lakers well over 23 years and he is a huge part of this team.
Now when the Lakers won their titles, does he or has he earned any championship rings with every title.
I mean he is a huge part of this teams success with taking care of our players and he is a part of the coaching staff.
And if he does recieve a ring then how many rings does he own?

I thought even front office people and the like receive rings, so it stands to reason that he would too. Although, they don't all get the diamond studded expensive rings.

According to Jeannie Buss in an interview a while back. She said it was up to Jerry Buss who decides which members of the Lakers organization/staff gets a ring. She says her father is very generous when it comes to giving out rings. I am almost 100% sure Gary Vitti gets a ring.

I know that the Spurs give out three different kind of rings to everybody in their organization, from the diamond-encrusted paperweights for the players, coaching staff and immediate support staff to fairly basic ones for office managers and secretaries and what not.

I'd virtually guarantee that Gary gets the real thing for his day-to-day involvement with the team.

So if thats the case then he should technically have 6 rings, right?

I'm sure Vitti has six rings and the same ones the players have. That's how Buss operates.
