Re: Kings @ Mavs
Well same old story--we're doing downright great offensively, but a team of chair would put up 100 on us.

Good point mitchweber. I'm so glad to have somebody like you here to discuss the game.
My thoughts are that we have gotten off to a nice start in the second. Shelden fumbled a gimmie earlier, but he's been doing a nice job on Dirk in the last couple minutes.

Re: Kings @ Mavs
Nice small plays from Sheldon. Running the floor well for the dunk. And a strong move against Dirk in the post for the dunk.

Re: Kings @ Mavs
I was watching this game and 2 other games on NBA League Pass, and in the Toronto-Minnesota Game, C-Webb was being interviewed so I muted the Kings game to listen to him. They first talked about his retired jersey but then something got my attention. He stated that he has had offers to be in management and a GM. I have said that I think Petrie is getting ready to step down and there has been several signs i.e. his assistant, retiring jerseys before he retires? What u think?
Also, they brought up C-webb as a HOF, what u think?

Sounds like someone is getting lonely...shall I give you a hug?
Giving up nearly 40 in the 1st quarter is just pathetic...but not all that surprising with this team (unfortunately). At least the Mavs' D has not been all that great either and they have let us stay close (even giving us the lead early in the 2nd).
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I really doubt we offered him a GM job, but I wouldn't be surprised if we offered him a lower level job with the intention to maybe groom him.

Jason Levien is the assistant GM. So, it is likely that Jason would be the GM if Petrie steps down.

I stopped watching at as soon as the Mavs hit 100...somewhere around the 7:30 point in the 4th. Cooking dinner was much more fun.

That was not happening before, nor after this game.
Dallas just turned down Kidd for Davis & Kaman and we sure the hell ain't trading Stack for Benu when we already have Barea.

Yeah, just like they were getting Felton and May for Diop and Criap.

No, those Diop-Felton trade speculations also had us swapping Stack for Nazr. I'm glad that did not go through. At no point was it just Diop for Felton.
