I'm **** sick and tired of the Steelers defense

Post#1 » by Wizards2Lottery » Sun Aug 19, 2007 12:42 am

This bitches attack QB's below the knee on purprose. Cheep ass team. First they took out Carson Palmer in a playoff game in which they would have gotten OWNED.

Now the **** just hit Jason Campbell on the knee. It looked so bad that I'm sure hes out for the season.

Hey Pittsburgh your **** bastards. I hope all of you **** jump in a well.

Because I'm a Mod for the Pittsburgh Penguins board on the NHL boards. And since there aren't many hockey fans and only 1 other Pens fan on here, and since I'm the only one who has posted regularly on the hockey board when it was just one, they decided to make me the mod.

You wouldn't be saying that if it happened to Ben Interceptionburger. Your sorry ass first team defense couldn't even stop our 3rd string QB.

Oh snap, that sucks for the Skins. I really thought Campbell would continue to make strides and break out this year. Lol, well I guess there's always Mark Brunnell.

Quite possibly the worst attempt at a name insult I've ever seen.

Let's just be honest here. The Redskins season was over before it started. :)

the resemblance is sickening. Karma is a bitch. No wonder Little Ben looks like the 2nd coming of Ryan Leaf and Heath Shuler.

Maybe it's just being spoiled by Steve McNair, but I hate it when fans get pissy about their Quarterback taking hits. Don't you expect these sort of things to happen to your Quarterback? You don't hear anyone say a word when a Runningback gets wrapped up around the legs, so why should Quarterbacks get preferential treatment?

yes, you are spoiled. you don't know what's it like to have your team's starting QB to get hurt with potentially career ending injuries. how is that pissy? even the league is looking into this tackle. you don't tackle a quarterback downlow like that, it's extremely dangerous.

running backs are trained to be hit. they know how to protect themselves when they are getting tackled. QBs on the other hand have lots more stuff going in their head to be even thinking about protecting themselves, that's why QBs are extremely fragile. plus, the throwing motion exposes weakness in the body. in both picture, you can see that both QBs have their left leg extended straight up, that's when the knee is extremely fragile and any hit in that area can result in serious injury. that's why you don't make tackles like that. it's can result in devastating injuries. that's why QB gets special treatments about the getting tackled down low.

Its because RB's dont have there knees planted on the ground and stretched out like QB's.

That hit to the QB's knee when hes in his passing stance is a season threatening hit and thats why its been flagged as a penalty from the league.

Too bad the overall effect of the injury is much more than a 15 yard penalty. I guess it was an overreaction but you have to understand, I'm a 17 year old Redskins fan and I haven''t seen the team with a legit QB for all these years. Campbell finally gives us hope and I literally would have stopped watching te NFL had he blown out his ligaments. It would have set our franchise back another five seasons.

Its depressing being a Skins fan. I think we're cursed.

I admit this one is dirty, but the Carson Palmer one was accidental, if anyone has the video replay of it, you'd see that Von Oelhoffen was pushed to Carson Palmer, it was just a good block that lead to Kimo falling over and an unlucky event for Carson.

^ if it's an accident, why did kimo wrap his arms around carson palmer's leg?
it wasn't an accident, why would a o-line guy push a defensive guy to the QB? that doesn't make sense at all.
