In head to head mathups with the spurs they have shown me nothing I need to be overly concerned about. With or without Bynum.

^^I agree with that assessment also Worthy, but the Spurs aren't a team to take lightly especially in the playoffs. If we focus we will handle them easily & with Drew I even think we could sweep them

This Utah game showed how much he's missed. They were physical & got waaay 2 many easy lay ups & dunks. Gasol didn't have a single blocked shot.

our front court depth is incredibly short changed when lamar is taking on fouls like the titanic took on water

lamar needs to stay out of foul trouble or phil might need to find a way to play him off the bench again

This is crazy! 2 say bynum is not an important piece is like saying K.G is not an important piece 2 the celtics. Bynum is going 2 get you easy baskets, something we have not been getting in the last couple of games. He gives us rebounds, block shots, and a couple of assists sometimes. 2 say he's not important is straight (NO DISRESPECT) STUPID! Like anklebreaker said (NO BYNUM NO CHAMPIONSHIP PERIOD)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

o.k. nobody thinks that bynum isnt an important part of the team, and comparing him to k.g. is way overvalue bynums value.
The season is almost finished and we know that we have 3 players wiothout we cant win the ring and those players are kobe, gasol and fisher, i know that fisher isnt the third best player of the team but he is for sure one of the most important players.
After that we have four players that if we loose one of them is going to be really hard to win the ring but we can still have a shoot to win it all and are odom or bynum and walton or ariza.
After that we have farmar, sasha and powell and if we loose any of them would put a little of presure but if eveybody is healthy it wont matter

Whys is this thread still open.......... We need to throw this JINXED BAD LUCK thread in the grave.
Oh and Im not backseast modding, I just think threads like this bring bad luck.
We need Drew back to win the title, true we look okay, but lets be honest, Pau is taking on to much P.T and when we get into the playoffs he's presence is definantly needed in the middle.

If you read my post right, i didn't compare bynum 2 k.g. I said bynum was important 2 us like k.g is 2 the celtics. With out bynum we will not win the championship period. Fishers a big piece don't get me wrong, but i think we can still win it all with out him. Remember phil ran the offense with big guards anyway. But if bynum's not there, we would get push around & outrebounded. Gasol still plays soft in a lot of games, and i don't think he would hold his own in a 7 game series against boston. And i don't know if lamar is mentally ready 2 take that challenge. Bynum is going 2 clog up the middle, block shots and get us easy baskets.

Butter you are right on the money. I have to agree, Fish is a big part but IMO i think we might be able to get around that hurdle easier than Drew. Good post. *Side Note* If all of our player stay healthy, we win it all, period!
