Anyone else care to defend Caron on the General NBA Board?
Yes, I know it's like herding cats but this cannot stand.

Caron doesn't play 2 games and they look like doo doo. Today, he and Jamison reestablished their competitive arrogance (and I say that in a good way). They're the only ones on the team that can carry the team like that. Young can fill it in spurts, but today both forwards played at a very high level--all star worthy.
Young guys couldn't have brought what either Butler or Jamison brought today.
Follow the steady light. CCJ, you know about that in other areas of your life.
To many posters here are up one second and down the next.
We win and CB is great. We loss and he sucks, EG sucks, Tapps suck, no one was playing the right minutes, CB cashed it in. Sorry, but you call that what it is, immaturity or lack of wisdom. Hey, we are all frustrated by the loosing, but you have to look at the positives in times like these.
Look, EG nor Tapps suck.
CB is an All Star. He isn't a Kobe All Star. He is a borderline on. He will make it some years and not others. Just like this year.
The losses we are racking up are no surprise and aren't really a reflection on our coach. The Zen master himself couldn't have gotten more then a few more wins out of what we have had available to play this year. It was crap luck. It was the worst of timing that we lost Haywood before McGee even had day one the practice with him. That was a double wammy.
Same deal with PG. We had and OK one but he was getting old and needed to move his salary and get a younger one with more upside. We did that. But it also meant changing horses in mid stream so we drifted backward. The ship had no rudder for a while.
We have been playing a lot of games with no true center and now true PG. I don't know a coach that is going to win much like that.
I think the worst of it is past us now. Excluding I have no idea if we trade anyone away before the deal line.
The All Star break is just around the corner. Crit can stay on the floor now so we have a PG. Even if he is still pretty new. Blatche is coming back so we will have more depth at center and power forward again. NY is slowly maturing so we have more options at sg and sf.
These are all the things we needed to get done this year so we can get better moving forward.
And we transitioned out of EJ. Sometimes you have to take a step back to take 3 forward.
Tapps and EG were dealt a crap hand and did a better then average job with it. You just aren't seeing the progress as Ws yet, but we will. Steady as she goes. Do the next thing that needs done which is to clean up the roster some more.
The biggest challenges still lie ahead. That's integrating the pieces back together again.
