Isn't he the scout for the LA Lakers? Either way, I'm not a fan of his coaching and in fact, I believe that he's downgrade from Adelman.

I agree. Plus, there's that bit about a "heart condition"... or whatever they're calling cocaine addiction nowadays.

I do. I mean, at least he'd have us playing on one end of the floor. Adelman can't get these guys to be competent on either.

Absolutely not. I'm a huge fan of Rudy T. Hell, I actually wanted to see the Lakers do well when he was coaching them. Rudy's strength isn't X's and O's coaching. He's more like a Phil Jackson light in that he's great at motivating veterans and managing egos. Undisciplined players who need someone riding their ass from October to April are not players that Rudy T should be coaching.

Like several other people, I'd have preferred we didn't fire him, but he wouldn't be a magic panacea this year and re-hiring him wouldn't do a single good thing.

Things happen. Some suck, others don't. You move on.

No, bringing JVG back likely won't cause any major change as mid-season changes never do, but I do think he'd have the Rockets playing better if he never retired.

if Adelman does go and I hope he doesn't, I think Avery Johnson might be a good fit but thats just me. Didn't follow him much in Dallas but he did have a good balance on both ends

well Ill admit I wanted JVG out... he just made too many mistakes in a course of a game...
for my liking...

but I never would have chosen RA as his replacement... anyone who thought putting a 7'6 guy 15 to 18 feet away from the basket... is a good idea ... has lost his mind... atleast RA has been able to adjust and he has our 7'6 big stiff at the high post less often now...

just like anyone who thought Tmac... was going to do anything with out the ball like cutting...

or in my mind... Rafer is too much of a chucker... with low fg%...and a weak IQ pg to be effective
in a RA type team
