Economy may cause teams to shop Amare and Chandler?

Interesting, but I'd take it with a grain of salt. Even though the recession is a very serious problem, the media exagerates every national issue to make it more entertaining, and thus more profitable.

They also won't remember you how many $ these owners can have get before the economy starts to be in trouble ;)
And as logical as it can be, the fact that some owners lost money on other activities can't be link to the team in all cases.

Now, some teams are certainly in trouble, I won't disagree, some other teams won't be doing any move waiting to see if things go back to what it was before (ATL is this kind of team IMO), but there are teams without any economic problem.

Sarver seems to have lost big money, and that's why some guys say he want to trade Stoudemire and go under the tax next season, but he certainly did not lost anything with the Suns.
NOH is a different case, because last year was already not providing so much money, even with a big playoffs time, and with the new contract of Paul coming next season, they can easily loose big.

If you look at the Forbes numbers, you can see why ATL will certainly not make a move this year, because these last three years, payroll has increase, and while revenues also increase, the income decrease.

Due to the lack of production (injuries as well) from Tyson Chandler I understand why New Orleans would like to move him. They are suffering rather badly and paying someone like Stojakovic doesn't help! Just look at the money that's being tossed around on that team.

Looks like they are adding Kaman and Dalembert to the must be traded because of the economy list.
