Why am I seeing/reading about Rasheed signing?
Did he say he wants to come here?

He obviously hasn't said anything but Ainge has always been a big fan of Sheed and Sheed is apparently in love with KG (which is why he is unable to play defense against him) so it seems like a fit.

So you're suggesting that Ainge accept a contract he rejected over the summer, and throw in a first-round pick to make it happen?

Of course, the other part of what you're suggesting is dumping a year each on a couple of Ainge's FA deals ...

I hate that last year and all but if Ainge could erase Scal from him books I think he would have been more inclined to go over the top on Posey. This is the lux tax season by making this deal you don't spend 2 for 1 for Posey this year and next even if it ties you up a bit financially down the road those are not lux tax years at this point.

Well last night we got to see some of the good and some of the bad with Posey. Yes he is a fantastic role player who does all of the little things and fouls hard and that. He also can mix in quite a few 6 point and 1 rebound in 25 mins nights as well.

Is that worth 11, 12, 6.5, 7 mil over the next 4 years in salary and obvious tax payments the first two years? Hell no.

I agree, I'd have loved to have kept him but the price was not right...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

IF NO would do it; Posey and cash for T.Allen and Scal. I don't know how much it would take but i think we would need something. Getting Scal off the books is a savings but what about the last 2 years of Posey? I don't see a deal happening unless Danny and co just say what the hell and make something happen for the NOW.

TA/Bil Warker/Giddens/Pruit/Sam works for posey but we would have 4 spaces that would be needed to be filled. That would be on top of many other holes that have been discussed in this trade. However, I still have a lot of love for Posey I don't think I'll ever forget any of the players who were on last years championship team but his contract doesn't make sense for us to take.

^^I'd do either of those in a heartbeat, but why would NO take on this ass-trash from us just to dump Posey?
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
