In last year's playoffs Horry went 7 for 36 (5 for 22 3pt) and had more fouls than rebounds. Done.
0:01.8 A. Walker makes 3-pt shot from 28 ft (assist by E. Williams) +3 109-108

Horry is a stiff now and not even an upgrade over Scal anymore. I have no interest in him.

I think Horry makes more sense returning to San Antonio than to come to Boston. Boston needs more interior defense and rebounding. Horry has always in his career been more of a small forward, a perimeter shooter. He's the opposite of what PJ Brown brought to the team last season. Yes, he has length but he isn't going to be able to defend the stronger power forwards or centers for long periods during the playoffs. Boston could face anyone of these players at some point.

Horford, Howard, Ilgauskas, Dalembert or R. Wallace.

To be honest, neither.

If Ray Allen doesn't take that shot I am going to be so pissed I might go blind.

Both of these made me laugh out loud.

Think of it this way. Doc Rivers wouldn't be considering bringing you in, if you weren't capable of playing real good defense. And we already know from Sam through Horry's ESPN quote that Doc wants to bring him in next month.

here's another quote from ESPN: "Posey is a good friend of mine, I love him as a person. But he can't play as many positions as me. I think he plays D almost as good as me, even though he doesn't block shots like I did. He's a great player, but until he reaches that seven mark, he's no Robert Horry."

Not only does Doc think highly of his ability to play defense, but even Horry considers himself a great defensive player. This could really work

Good defender, and modest, too. 8-)

Haven't seen him play in a while but with his VET experience and his ability to win championships :D I say bring him a board.

it would be an interesting signing. He looked washed up the past couple seasons in San Antonio and hardly played....however, he's rested and always keeps himself in good shape. Even when he looked a bit washed up in San Antonio he still brought alot of energy and blocked shots when given a chance to play in key situations.
I'm thinking he might be good for us if we limit him to 7-10 mins per game.
