Doesn't look good. Donny said knowing ray, he will keep himself out of the ASG.

If an injury happens, now is the best time. We have a game tomorrow, then a week off. Hopefully, Ray will be good to go by next Thursday.

if the ligament in his thumb is ok he should not be out for long and could be ready by the ASG. However, it would be preferable for him to take the next week off and go from there.

And Tony has a thumb injury too which was initially believed to be torn ligaments, but doesn't sound to be the case after all.

Shucks, jammed thumb! If he was having any kind of game, he'd probably have played in the 2nd.

We really needed to go inside against the Hornets. Lucky for us Chandler was out, he plays us really tough.

So ray sits out and Rondo gets an all star gig :)

Random question, if a player sits out due to injury does it still count as an all star appointment?

What is it with guys last-named "Allen" and thumbs lately?

Ray says he's gonna give it a go:
NEW ORLEANS - With his right hand wrapped in black tape, Ray Allen looked more like he was getting ready for a boxing match than recovering from a basketball game. But despite missing the second half of the Celtics' 89-77 win over the Hornets last night with a hyperextended right thumb, the All-Star guard hopes he will return tonight at Dallas.

I'm GLAD Ray won't be at the ASG...honestly I'd rather our players NOT play and get some rest...who cares about being an All-Star? Win a title instead!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
