Some claim that he is, others--like myself--thinks that he still lacks that little edge of explosiveness to him that he had last year and in the preseason before the ankle injury. Your thoughts on him?

If he can get any better than he is right now, I'd hate to see it. We can't guard him as it is.

This would be a great playoffs series to watch. Although, the dynamics of it all change completely with Bynum on the floor.

They really let them play, yesterday.

oh well, cant win em all

You sure our lack of defense didn't have anything to do with this loss? I mean, you give guys who can shoot wide open shots and, well, they make them more times than not.

The defense from both teams were craptacular. Kobe shooting bad shots was what sealed the Lakers from winning when the Jazz missed their FTs. I'd put this on Kobe before the defense.

Kobe shooting bad shots disallowed us from overcoming a poor defensive performance, but I wouldn't blame that as the reason for why we lost. However, I would still blame Kobe for our bad defensive performance because he set the stage for 48 minutes worth of garbage defense when he directly gave up 11 of the Jazz's first 13 points by playing lazy defense or just getting flat out burned.

I was worrying that he wouldn't feed Gasol enough. Like SS said, it wasn't the offense that cost us this game. Over 100 is more than enough points to win any game.

I agree that Kobe "hogged" way too much during crunch time. I wouldn't mind so much if hogged the ball, but he didn't look for an easier shots. He simple settled for long 2's and 3's when guys are on him. Should've learned from Lebron and drive and dish out.
