Re: Amare Trade Thread / Suns trades II
I have some news...
Kerr just called Dudley.
Had Gentry in his office for about an hour. Met with HR and the Lawyer earlier today.
That's all I've got. Working on it. Something seems to be close. Stay tuned.

Re: Amare Trade Thread / Suns trades II
Numerous reports have said that Portland is off the table. If you check that article, "UPDATE: One factor complicating matters, according to a team executive who has spoken with the Suns, is an apparent difference of opinion between Kerr and managing partner Robert Sarver as far as what Phoenix hopes to get back in a Stoudemire trade. Steve Nash, Grant Hill, and Leandro Barbosa are viewed as untouchable in any trade talks with the Suns. It is not known if any of those players is the source of disagreement between Kerr and Sarver."
I'm thinking that Portland is willing to do that deal as long as the Suns add in Hill, since he's playing fabulous and the fact they need a great SF. Nash wouldn't work as well with them, unless they want to speed up (which with Amare and Nash and Roy, they could). Bayless right now is a poor mans Barbosa, so to a point I could see them wanting him as well.

Human Resources.
On Steve Nash:

HR as in Human Resources?
And Lawyer?
Sounds like a contract stipulation, agreement from Dudley, the HR and Lawyer there for the paper works.

No, I'd be willing to bet it was about Porter...since Gentry went and met with Kerr for a while afterwards. Dudley likely will be packaged with someone (Amare).

It sounds like Gentry could be taking over for Porter. Wonder why Dudley was talking to Kerr

Re: Amare Trade Thread / Suns trades II
Or maybe Porter is to be fired as someone said...
HR/Lawyer again... needed for paper work.
Gentry to take over rest of season?
Suns traded Dudley along?
Suns going back to fast pace tempo for rest of the season?

Question is, is he a part of a small trade, or do they just have clear his involvement in a big trade since he was just trades to us ????????????

Yup, that too.
My guess... thanks to your information.. and probably as good as everyone elses here..
Stoudemire + Dudley Thats 2 outgoing PF/SF....assuming a trade went through. Blazers, Bulls, Pistons come to mind. Bulls are trading 3 front court players.... so they need a couple back. Blazers loses a PF also, and Pistons same thing...
