The Kings are Playing (Sac @ Hou)
Just thought I'd make the point since it's almost halftime.

Ya, this isn't a very good game. We are a terrible shooting team with terrible defense. That's not a good formula to win.

What do you know, another third quarter collapse. Seriously though, our defense consists of falling apart and fouling. It's disgusting.

Goodbye John. Goodbye Brad. Goodbye Beno, maybe. Goodbye Mikki, maybe.

We're actually usually a pretty good shooting team...defense though--uhh...yeah.

Edit: Anyway, the difference in this game was basically Yao. Offensively, his stats don't look great outside of his offensive rebounding, but there's a reason the Rockets struggled offensively whenever he was out. Literally almost every good opportunity they got was because of the attention we were forced to give to Yao.

We were down 20 early in the 3rd. I have a hard time saying any one player was "the" difference.

And we starter to come back as soon as Yao was out. As much as the score doesn't seem to indicate it, we really lost because they got a lot of opportunities (thanks in large part to 7 offensive rebounds from Yao), and because we had to give Yao a ton of attention defensively. I thought it was pretty clear, really.

I always like your posts because unlike pretty much everyone else, there's always a positive, always something to look forward to.

You don't like my posts because I'm not always positive?!?! OK...you positively suck!

This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Ok...maybe you don't suck. But I do reserve the right to be negative and cynical.
