Parisyan fails UFC 94 drug test

Mixed martial arts welterweight Karo (The Heat) Parisyan failed his UFC 94 drug test, the Nevada State Athletic Commission said Tuesday.

The 170-pounder tested positive for hydrocodone, hydromorphone and oxymorphone. All three are painkillers.

Parisyan said in an interview that he had a prescription for all three drugs and told an official as much when he provided a urine sample after the Jan. 31 fight in Las Vegas. He then had his prescription faxed to the commission.

I hope they change the result to a NC.

If they can steal Diaz's gogo-god-damn-plata win over Gomi for some weed (which I believe he had a prescription for), they should sure as hell take away Karo's sketchy split decision for being on 3 kinds of painkillers.
