I think that with Okur and Boozer in at the same time we are weak on defense in the paint. With Tyson Chandler and Kirilenko playing defense together. we should get some block shots and a lot more fast breaks from those blocked shots. Thier defnse will help make up for Boozers lack of defense.

Chandler does not have near the trade value that Okur does. Okur is a top 5-10 center in the league. Chandler is having the worst year of his career and has never done anything. I do however agree that he has the type of athleticism that we need, and the defensive mindset we need so I agree with the direction of your thinking, but you just need to get more for Okur.

Defense is as much about athleticism as it is about a tough mindset. KG has it. Camby has it. I just don't see Chandler as mentally tough enough to translate his athleticism into a top tier defender. Cause in the end it is about intensity.

NO is trying to get rid of him just like Chicago did...that says alot more about what his adds to your team than anything else.

I like: Camby/Gordon or unprotected pick for Okur/Almond. Or Pryzbilla... talk about toughness.

Kaman is a much better option than Chandler ... more rebounds, steals and blocks. But what reason to expect he will ever be healthy enough to play?
