You realize that Terry is a 20 PPG scorer? You really cannot tell me Dallas did not miss him in this game. Like I keep saying, good win but we played the Mavs without their second leading scorer.

First you fail by saying they're mailing it in and this team sucks. Now you fail by trying to rationalize why you were wrong.

Just man up and admit you were wrong for once dude. I piss and moan about the team all the time, but I'll admit it when I'm just straight up wrong.

Terry is a good scorer but let's not act like he's a guarunteed positive for the other team.

Ray could easily take him to school.

Like I said, great win but Dallas was without Terry and when Howard fouled out Dirk was the only one scoring. Celtics really need to work on their TO's as well.

Hey, we had Ray at about 20% last night.

I think Scals defense was missed BIG TIME last night (KGs fouls)
Tanking :nonono: Live for the day 8-)

Especially in spite of the atrocious reffing....that double T's on Dirk and KG, the 5th foul on KG, and Doc getting tossed (good for him! start putting the heat on **** Stern and the **** awful refs) were the height of BS...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

They were mailing it in the first half. They only started playing after Doc got throw out and KG got his 5th. It was a nice win but you still have to take it for what it is worth.

Great Game last night! I was hoping to get your take on the Dirk/ KG matchup. If Dirk lost his cool like Garnett did he would have been ripped in this city. To me it looked like Dirk was plain using KG and KG could not take it. Am I wrong? Anyway, Dirk's game was not enough to beat the Champs. Pierce just took the game over, Dam he is strong! Loved the play when he plain knocked Damp on his ass, got fouled, and still almost made the shot. Rondo is a young Jason Kidd.

Can Maxwell Smart please shut the hell up about the officiating? The Mavs had one more foul than the Celtics 26 to 25.

If any franchise knows what it is like to get screwed by officials it is the Mavs. 2006 Finals! Enough said!

Dirk got to K.G. this time around. last time it was the other way around with K.G. completely dominating Dirk. Hey, they are both great players, and with guys of that caliber each will have hhis night to shine head to head.

Thanks for the props for Paul and Rajon. We like them too.

I'm with you on the 2006 Finals. You guys had the Heat dead to rights, and then the zebras (on orders from Davey, no doubt), decided to allow the Heat to play "physically". It changed the series. I was very disappointed, though, that your guys didn't break out of jumpshooting mode and take it to the basket more - especially in Game 6. The Heat were in the penalty 2 minutes into the 4th quarter, and the Mavs just kept shooting jumpers. I was freaking out, and I'm not a Mavs fan... just a devotee of smart basketball.

Anyways, good luck to you guys.

I was too tired last night! I only saw the first half! LoL this must be embarrising for me.

As for Dirk/KG for the mav fan. Yeah looked like Garnett was exshauted from the tip of the ball tonight. He didn't have it, and Dirk did.

So you saw an opposite result of what you saw a few weeks ago in BOS.

KG may still be feeling the affects of the flu. You know something's wrong when he misses 5 straight 5 foot shots to start the game. One of them was off his own offensive rebound lol.

And I don't think there was even an alley opp tonight for KG.

Big fella needs rest.

Rondo was awesome. He kept us in the whol game. Ray Allen was big in the 3rd. Pierce was unstopable in the 4th. Great comeback victory.

The All Star Break is at the right time...rest and allow KG to finally kick the effects of the flu! Then come out strong for the second half...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Return to Boston Celtics
