Wow those pictures are amazing. If I took those they would be blurry and I would be lucky if the eagle was in them!

WOW, amazing pics! There are around 50 eagles in that one pic.

My father in law has a motion censor camera he sets up in the badlands of ND. He has a picture of an eagle attacking a fawn. It's pretty sweet, but obviously nowhere near the quality of these pics.

Wow, those are great. Thanks.

Can you get one of an eagle attacking Cardinal's bald dome?

DSW, did you take them or just find them? My wife used to do professional photo editing work. Those are great pictures.

a lady I work with does some photography and she showed me those, I can't remember how she knows the guy who took the photos, but he's a professional nature photographer and the lens alone on his Canon weighs 9.9 lbs I think she said and his setup costs about 1/5 of my annual salary

I'm currently browsing the entire forum and either my internet is somehow broke or I guess I need to register there to see all pictures. Devilz, do you know anyting about that issue? because I'm really interested in some landscape pics

Those are intense. Never realized how pissed off eagles look. They must have just found out about Al Jefferson.

watching all those pics makes me want to pick up my SLR and shoot some pics. unfortunately I'm a bloody rookie in terms of shooting skills. and while Berlin has tons of decent motives I either don't find them when I'm trying to get some good shots or they aren't as good as motives in nature. browsing through that forum makes we want to live in Minnesota ever more. that Split Rock Lighthouse is a heck of a spot... the whole North Shore seems to be great as well

I was back at my parents place in St. Cloud, which is just on the outskirts of town and we saw two bald eagles sitting right on the side of the road. I've never been so close to them before but they are a lot bigger then I thought.

Yeah, they are big up close. I almost hit one with my car a couple winters back. I was driving to work and saw a bunch of crows and ravens huddled over a road-killed deer. As I got closer, the crows all flew offf and this eagle stood up. It was in the middle of all the birds and I didn't see it. Then the eagle started taking off, which takes some room. I slammed on my brakes and the bird swerved to the left just at the last second. I missed hitting it with my side mirror by about one foot. But there it was flying right outside my window about 3 feet away. Pretty cool - and very cool that I didn't hit it.

so I decided to browse through my picture folders looking for some pictures that I took. I've been limited to taking pics in Berlin... I got some of Norway too if there is some demand ;)

railroad tracks with our new sports venue on the left (with some editing obviously)
Image

laying on the pavement taking a long time exposure shot (5 secs probably) - it gave me some adrenaline since I was probably only 2 feet away from the cars passing by
Image

Berlin Alexanderplatz with the World Clock on it. I took a 30 seconds long time exposure picture and I had to edit it afterwards (it was way too bright).

I like the 2nd and 3rd ones the best, they look like a colony on Mars or something. Or at least that's how I remember them.
