Endy needs more starts

Post#1 » by blueNorange » Wed Apr 25, 2007 2:51 am

I know Alou and Green are red hot but Endy makes stuff happens. He can hurt you in a lot of ways from his speed, bunting skills, going the other way, and he even has pop in his bat. Not to mention his defense is top notch and if he started for a team I wouldn't be shocked if he'd win a Gold Glove.

If Willie wants Green in the line-up then when Delgado gets a day off forget puting that old fart Franco at 1B ... put Green at 1B and Endy in the outfeild.

  Everyday Endy
LOL Y U MAD THO?

I like Endy, but our guys are doing just fine. Its a long season. Endy will get his chances.

And Major - you'd really rather AARP Franco at first than Green?
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?

I like Endy. He's not the type to complain about his role. He deserves to start but he's a team-oriented guy and this is a great thing for the Mets. He'll get some burn. Alou and Green are up there in age so they'll get their rest. It's a long season and Endy's not complaining about his at-bats. So we shouldn't as well.

Once the seventh inning comes around im fine with this. Honestly it has been two games already this year Green has cost us. While we cant complain because he his hitting but his fielding makes me want to...

Early in the season coaches tend to not mess with their lineups cuz the starters like to form a groove when the whether breaks and starts hitting 90 degrees believe it that Endy will be out their. Willie knows what Endy brings to the table, I personally like his play and he was big for you guys last season.
