IMO the dunk contest has run its course.. I really hope HORSE is successful so that can be slid into one of the main events

LOL, I wonder if Dwight Howard is really going to do the dunk contest naked. Hopefully not I don't want to see his 3rd leg dangling.

you think the dunk contest has run its course?

"Shooting stars" never had a course.

Shooting stars feels like another lame attempt to get WNBA publicity for a league no one cares about. I don't even know if WNBA has all-star events.

All the other contests I probuly won't watch aside from the dunk contest, but I'd have intrest in seeing depending on what else is on (The Godfather is on from 4pm-8pm tonight and I've only seen it a few hundred times so we'll seeeee)

I love the dunk contest. Especially when they use props. They should have a giant chest like Carrot Top has. Picture someone jumping over 10 midgets or through a ring of fire.

I love All-Star Sat. night. I'm pi$$ed they put horse on at 5-7, that should be up there with the 3pt and dunk comp imo. The skills challenge and shooting stars are boring as hell.

HORSE-Durant, he's forcing people to take notice this weekend
Shooting Stars-Phoenix, the city has to win something this year, right?
Skills-Rose, this one's a crapshoot but I'm happy so long as Mo doesn't win.
3pt-Mason, might make me feel a little bit better about last week, might.
dunk-Dwight, They gonna let em raise the rim this year? He said he can get to 12'3" on FirstTake the other day.

Watching all this stuff is depressing. I have a basketball hoop right in my driveway, but I still haven't been able to play since fall because of all the snow and ice.

I could make that diaper shot free throw in my sleep, JJ airballs it.

1 for 1 on my predictions.

I recommend you watch this video, it's way more entertaining than the HORSE game.

Spelling G-E-I-C-O in horse is a very sad commentary on corporate over-involvement. Hopefully we won't have to see Laimbeer in a jersey again this year during Shooting Stars (I really like it, personally).

BTW, Gerald Green's off-the-backboard dunk is the most underrated ever. Dwight's sticker dunk has become an urban legend (Green went way higher in that first dunk than any I've seen Howard in).

The no socks dunk was criminally underrated. It wasn't a 50, but they crucified him for it, and threw away the signed shoes lol. The C's need to play Giddens or Walker (pref JR) so that one of them can get in this contest. Or, if they want someone with championship experience, James White is available.
